What's Included:
Game like never before
Experience a groundbreaking transformation in virtual reality with a motorized chair that seamlessly rotates 360 degrees in response to your head movements, perfectly synchronized with game audio to provide immersive vibrations that will elevate your gaming experience to new heights.
Look & Turn
Attach the Roto Head Tracker to your Quest headset and experience a seamless, magical connection to your gaze. This innovative device allows you to navigate 360° VR with ease, eliminating the need for artificial controls like teleportation, so you can fully immerse yourself without the worry of motion sickness.
Rumble
The haptic feedback from the Quest 2 motion controllers is impressive, but the experience is truly elevated when those sensations resonate throughout your entire body. With powerful haptics, sound transforms into tangible feelings that breathe life into content, creating an unparalleled immersive experience.
Top speed is 21 RPM.
Look & turn is designed to be a smooth experience, so it purposely doesn’t jolt you from side to side.
Racing games will be able to jolt you from side to side – Roto updates every 200ms, so it can get pretty intense.
We guarantee up to 130kg (286lb).
The Roto VR Explorer base is 76cm (30 inches) in diameter, which is the same as a regular swivel chair, but users swing their arms so we recommend an additional 1m space around the chair for safety.
Roto supports and enhances all games out of the box, but obviously a small percentage of games are designed to be played standing only.
Racing and flying games are the only tricky genres, because our Look & Turn technology doesn’t make so much sense, so we are promoting our SDK (software development kit) to developers so they can turn the chair to match their in-game vehicles.
We also have some exciting news to share (soon) about PCVR racing and flying games.
We have partnered with Meta to deliver the optimum experience with the Meta Quest line of products.
Additionally, Roto VR Explorer supports all other all-in-one headsets such as Vive XR Elite, Pico Neo 3 and soon Apple Vision pro.
PCVR support is coming soon with the upcoming launch of our PC Advanced Cable Magazine, which allows for USB connectivity through the chair.
Unfortunately, some headsets are difficult or impossible to support, such as PSVR 1&2, Varjo, Pimax (PC version), Oculus-S, Reverb G2.
Lastly, some legacy headsets are possible to support, but are not a priority currently, which include HTC Vive and Valve Index.
The Cable Magazine is an integral part of Roto that can allow connectivity through the chair without cables getting tangled. Our Cable Magazines are made of high precision gold-plated electromechanical sliprings.
Roto comes with a Basic Cable Magazine as standard, which provides USB-C headset charging (15W) plus power for the haptic feedback. If you wish to connect to PC, you need to upgrade to the PC Advanced Cable Magazine (coming soon).
Yes, we supply a switch mode power supply: input 110V-240V, output 19V 9Amps, 220W.
Sorry, no. There are various safety issues to consider including recline angles - we don’t want people to topple over at speed! Additionally, features such as haptics, plus the various accessories we sell will only work with our seats.
The Roto VR Explorer is a next-generation VR gaming chair made in partnership with Meta. The Roto VR creates an unparalleled immersive experience with Meta Quest headsets with its patented “Look & Turn” technology which transforms the seated 360º experience with its powerful motorized base and full-body haptics. The Roto VR “Look & Turn” technology resolves motion sickness and enhances immersion in over 400+ games and apps available on the Meta Quest store.
