Choose to guide either IOTA or ATOI on this adventure, each a bold courier with an expressive personality, and a unique message for you locked away inside their envelope head. In order to read it though, they're going to need your help to deliver it!

The papery world of Tearaway unfolds in your hands, allowing you to reach into the game with your god-like powers and help your new messenger friend complete this very special delivery, making you the co-star of the game.

As you travel together in this buddy-movie style, rites-of-passage adventure, you'll rely on each other's strengths to overcome perilous challenges, and form a long lasting bond. You'll uncover a magical dimension inspired by half-forgotten stories and folklore, and built realistically from paper that unfolds and comes alive before your very eyes; from lost islands and forgotten forests, to bottomless canyons and mysterious structures. As you guide your adventurous messenger through this world you'll meet the papercraft creatures that live within it, help out strange new friends and encounter dangerous challenges.

The world of Tearaway blends with our own through the unique features of the PlayStation Vita, bringing Tearaway to life in exciting, unexpected and incredibly tactile ways: Reach up into the world using the rear-touch panel and see your fingertips appear inside the game, solve puzzles using the power of touch, or literally breathe new life into this papercraft land to open up new paths for your companion to explore.

As you play, you'll bring a little bit of this papery world back with you, as you collect plans to craft the creatures, treasures and surroundings of Tearaway from paper in the real world. As you explore, you'll also see more of your own surroundings appearing inside the paper world too!

As you play you will be rewarded with real papercraft trophies to print out and construct to bring the world of Tearaway into our own world.

• A Hands-In Experience - Tearaway uses the intuitive features of the PS Vita - front & rear cameras, motion sensor, microphone, touch screen and rear touch pad - to create an immersive and unique experience which is like nothing you've ever played before, and which you can actually touch with your fingertips.
  • Front Touch - Poke certain enemies to destroy them, create content using the cutting mat, and even poke wildlife in the game to make them squeak. You can unfurl papery objects to create bridges and platforms and help your messenger along their way.
  • Rear Touch pad - Push your fingertips up into the game world to solve puzzles and squish enemies. Tap to bang drums at key locations to propel your messenger through the level.
  • Front Camera – Become part of the story and see your face inside the game through the hole in the sun.
  • Rear Camera - Take pictures of the world around you and see them appear in the game, used in special quests such as reskinning an Elk. The Quantum lens allows you to take pictures using the rear camera, and apply your collected filters to them. The rear camera is also used to enhance the illusion of the fingers poking into the world, by creating a ‘hole' in the game.
  • Tilt - Tilt to move platforms around to help your messenger traverse them, plus a constant ambient tilt is enabled to give the illusion of holding this little world in your hands.
  • Microphone - Record your voice for use in key moments in the game.
