NFL game day is brought to life through improved likenesses to players and coaches, new gameplay camera angles and post player interactions that show the emotion of football. Coaches have been revamped from head to toe to match their real life counterparts. The new All-22 gameplay camera gives you a birds-eye view of the action as you survey the entire field at once. Post play, players comes to life through touchdown celebrations, sacks, tackles, and other events right in real time.

GAMEPLAY

Risk vs. Reward – Defenders can now make aggressive or conservative tackles in the open field, with proximity cones showing the effective range of each. Aggressive tackles can lead to big plays and fumbles, but conservative tackles are more likely to bring the ball-carrier down without giving up extra yards. The choice is yours, but so are the consequences.

Redesigned Coverage Logic - Have a bigger impact in the secondary with redesigned AI, providing more intelligence to how players react to the ball carrier. Defenses are now smarter when going for a swat vs. an interception or a tackle. Man coverage has also been improved to impact how much separation receivers are able to get on cuts in their routes, resulting in improved behavior of the defender.

MODES

Run The Gauntlet – Skills Trainer has been expanded to teach not only gameplay skills, but strategy and football concepts as well. Learn how to read zone defenses, when to hot route a receiver, and more with nearly 50 new tutorials and drills. Once you've mastered the basics, enter The Gauntlet where your skills will be put to the ultimate test through intense challenges.

Connected Franchise – Interact and build your team with more control in Game Prep all-new to CFM. Want to develop your backup QB? Between matchups, spend extra time on him each week to earn training points without having to force him into the real games before he is ready. Also new in CFM is the Confidence rating system. Build your teams' confidence through performance and front office transactions. Balance keeping player's confidence up, to increase abilities and build player XP.
