80’s style text rpg with pictures

Plays like an 80’s 2.5D rpg. Walls of text, character backstory, etc but not real heavy on action.

While I haven't progressed too far yet, the depth that the game has shown so far is interesting.

It's been awhile since I've played a good RPG. The dialogue, story, and characters are all fantastic.

I love this game. It is very much an RPG reminiscent of CRPGs of yesteryore. It is turn based and feels closer to Grandpa than Baldur's Gate with a story akin to Torment: Planescape. It is it's own game though. I'm only ten hours in and I'm 110% sure I am going to play through to the end. Worth a look for any RPG enthusiast or eclectic gamer looking for a change of pace.

Very old school! Graphics are super old and reminiscent of old oooooold systems. Controls are wonky and the little bit of story I got into was just eh. You have to set everything up for your character as well so be prepared for that. If you are looking for a pixelated throw back to things like magic or D and D with complete control of your character set up, this is for you.

Theater of the mind and very boring.

I always check reviews on all my games before purchasing. But there are times that I grab a game and go, and turns out to be a good game... This is not that time or game. If you like to read the actions of what is going on and like to answer multiple choices to progress in the game than this is a game for you. For me this game was a waist of my time and money. I took it back immediately.

Great mix of Sci-Fi and Fantasy in an RPG

I've played it about 20 hours. It is very reading heavy, and much of the game hinges on the player speaking to every named NPC in the game to pass missions and learn about the world. Skills are used to manipulate dialogue in various ways. There is not a ton of combat action, and the game is very slow. This is a truely unique RPG, and people who enjoy true-to-form table top RPG's will love it. There are a ton of mysteries to unlock, unique items, and interesting companions all for you to unlock. Also, this was the highest grossing crowd funded games ever on kickstarted, from InXile Studio, responsible for Wasteland, A Bards Tale, and Fallout: A Post Apocolyptic RPG.

Terrible gameplay

I bought this a week ago the gameplay was terrible and it would glitch not allowing you do leave conversations in game play. Coming from someone who played the original Torment on PC I was not pleased.
