One day I was playing Battlefront for my original Xbox when I went into extras and watched a trailer for Republic Commando. I was so pumped that I went out and rented RC literally seven times in a row. So I started playing RC about eight years ago by now. Eventually, at age seven, I scavenged enough of my own money($40, which is a lot of money at age seven) to go out and buy the game. I played that game more than Halo. The game mechanics are outstanding for its time. The graphics are still pretty good and the story is awesome. I did not realize till a bit later that the commandos you control and play as, were the clones that initially started the invasion of Kashyyk which led to the executions of the Jedi. The game also gets the player captivated by the characters and what they are so that by the end of the game you feel attached. The only downside is it's so good, that by the end of the game, you're craving more. Unfortunately, Lucasarts still hasn't picked up and made a sequel. However, I recently read a review that said they have picked up on the concept and are possibly in the middle of getting it to a near future E3. The game supposedly will not mention Sev"s fate because they stated that Karen Travis has put an end to his myths in the books. The new game will introduce brand new characters and they will be apart of the Empire. The game is going to try to get across the message that the Empire should be feared and it will try to grasp just how cruel, unjust, and scary the Empire really is.
