Bump ’n’ Jump brings the frantic, arcade‑style vehicular combat of Data East’s 1982 hit to the NES. Known in Japan as Burnin’ Rubber, this overhead‑view action racer challenges you to blast down dangerous highways, smash enemy cars off the road, and leap over massive obstacles like rivers and overpasses.

The NES version adds a light storyline: your girlfriend Bunny has been kidnapped by the villainous Dark Jackal and his gang of Blacktop Bullies. To rescue her, you’ll race through jam‑packed city streets, twisting mountain roads, and treacherous cliffside paths while avoiding cops, hazards, and relentless enemy vehicles. With tight controls, fast pacing, and the signature “bump or jump” mechanic, this 8‑bit adaptation captures the spirit of the arcade original while adding its own personality.
