Q: Is this an authentic Nintendo game or repro?

Best Answer :

It's authentic. If you are not sure about the cartridge just look at label and look at the game board when you take it part.

Q: Is this game for the Nintendo 3DS or Gameboy?

gmolloy 2 years ago
Best Answer :

It is a Gameboy Advance game which was the Nintendo handheld that came after the Gameboy Color but before the DS and 3DS in the years 2000-2005. There are 4 devices that can play this cartridge. Two of them are the Gameboy Advance and the Gameboy Advance SP. The SP model has lit screen. The other two are the first two DS models, as they were compatible with both DS and Gameboy Advance games. The first is known simply as the Nintendo DS and the second is known as the DS Lite. The DS Lite is much thinner, has better battery life, and its screen has brighter options than the original model. This game cannot be played on a 3DS. Currently, the only other alternative is downloading it on the Wii U eShop.

Q: If I buy this game at gamestop, Is it guaranteed to be 100% original? Thanks.

Best Answer :

I recommend everyone to buy screwdrivers to open cartridge games to make sure they're real. Gamestop guarantees the games to be legit, but if they aren't, they'll send a refund or a new copy. So far I bought around 5-6 GBA/GBC games and they have all been real with amazing labels. P.S. I know this response is late; I made this comment to try to help other buyers.

This game is a hidden gem in the Zelda series. This game is perfected by its beautiful spritework and fantastic gameplay that makes it feel both like a true Zelda game and its own unique game.

Goes without saying that the game was great, but it was nice to receive the cartridge in near mint condition. Can’t be said for every used game I’ve gotten from Gamestop. The only critique I have that, honestly, isn’t enough to drop my review down a star is that the saves were still on there and not cleared out, as to start fresh. Minor detail, but overall pleased.

A great entry to Zelda

This game is great and has some nice dungeons. Although it's not that hard or long, it's a great starting point in the series to introduce younger fans. If you're a long time Zelda fan, it's still a worthwhile entry as it has some unique puzzles and atmosphere not seen in other Zelda titles, probably because it wasn't developed by Nintendo but rather Capcom. It's current price is fair, but it's a great price if you are an Elite Pro Member.

Pricey...

Great, but the game is really pricey for a gameboy game. I would really like to buy it but the price is pretty high for a gameboy game. I will still get it because I enjoy the Legend of Zelda a LOT!

This was the first zelda game i did a speed run on lol. Love this game, will always be dear to my heart. If you play this, get all the swordsman scrolls. The last one transforms you into a lawnmower helicopter food processor of medieval green death XD.

Epic Zelda Game: My Ultimate Favorite

I like Skyward Sword. I like Twilight Princess. I like Ocarina of Time. But, Minish Cap delivers something unique, fun, and amazing that stands out in the crowd. This game is 20$ PRE-OWNED! It HAS TO be GREAT to be that much for an old Gameboy game. And it sure is great. I can NEVER PUT IT DOWN. I love the gripping storyline of the mirror and boomerang and powering up your sword. But, if there's anything that makes it so addictive... it's got to be shrinking to Minish Size. Shrinking down to Minish Size allows the player to experience Hyrule and it's dangerous fields and dungeons in a whole new way! If you shrink in size, you can enter Minish homes and villages, climb to new levels of houses in Hyrule Village, and even trade Kinstones with local animals nearby. Oh yeah, did I mention Kinstones? Kinstones make this game awesome too. Kinstones are fun to collect and fuse because for every fused Kinstone reveals another secret. Maybe it will lead you to some pricey Rupees. Or maybe it will give you a Heart Container or unlock that locked door you've been dying to get through. This game is remarkable and even though it's terrific in it's 2D format, seeing it in a 3 dimensional world would be unique and very cool! I would LOVE to play Minish Cap in 3D like Ocarina or Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess. Great game, so go break up your piggy banks and BUY IT! :D
