Black Ops 6 offers an exceptional arsenal of 33 different armaments to utilize, including 12 weapons all new to the franchise. As you begin to build your favorite Loadouts within a streamlined Weapons menu, and prepare for the Weapon Leveling to come, it’s worth considering the different types of weaponry available to you, how they unlock, and a closer look into a more accessible Gunsmith.

In Black Ops 6, players gain XP in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone (Season 01) to unlock weapons, equipment, and rewards, with the option to enter Prestige after reaching Level 55 for exclusive benefits. The game includes various challenges in each mode, allowing players to unlock Calling Cards, new weapon camos like Dark Matter and Abyss, and customize reticles. Additionally, players can earn Mastery Badges for gear and track their Medal collection to display achievements and unlock new Medals.

Black Ops 6 integrates historical aspects from past games with a blend of new and familiar characters. Frank Woods, a seasoned veteran, plays a key role in the narrative alongside his protege Troy Marshall. Jane Harrow, a fearless CIA handler, assists in navigating relationships within the agency, while Russell Adler's return adds an element of unpredictability.

Raven Software has designed a wide range of missions in Black Ops 6, each with unique approaches and execution methods. Some missions are suited for stealth, like infiltrating a sewer system beneath a casino, while others are more suitable for large-scale battles, such as assaulting a palace in the Iraqi desert. The game offers replayability and freedom in navigating through missions, with different outcomes based on choices made and interactions with environmental obstacles.

At launch, Black Ops 6 will feature a total of 16 new multiplayer maps, including 12 core 6v6 maps—Babylon, Derelict, Lowtown, Payback, Protocol, Red Card, Rewind, Scud, Skyline, Subsonic, Vault, and Vorkuta. Additionally, four Strike Maps designed for 2v2 or Face Off 6v6 gameplay—Gala, Pit, Sand House, and Stakeout—will also be available. One standout is Area 99, a new, expanded resurgence map inspired by the iconic Nuketown. While retaining familiar elements from the original, Area 99 introduces new features like roadways for foot traffic and vehicles, as well as fresh points of interest such as the Mannequin Assembly, Reactor and Cooling Towers, and Nuketown Shipping. This map is set to release sometime after the initial launch.

Zombies mode is back, bringing expanded gameplay, deeper lore, and a larger roster of characters. Both new and familiar faces join the fight, including Elizabeth Grey, a veteran in the battle against the undead. Alongside Grey, you'll team up with Grigori Weaver, Mackenzie "Mac" Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo. The round-based mode introduces two new maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus, each offering a distinct experience with unique gameplay elements and new character voice lines for an immersive experience. With fresh perks, enemies, and ammunition types, Black Ops 6 delivers an exciting and revitalized experience for both new and veteran players.
