Metal Gear Solid: The iconic Solid Snake first appeared in the late '80s, but his story truly began in Metal Gear Solid. Tasked with infiltrating Shadow Moses Island, Snake aims to stop a rogue Foxhound unit, led by Liquid Snake, from launching a nuclear strike with Metal Gear REX. Along the way, Snake discovers he and Liquid are brothers, clones of Big Boss from the Les Enfants Terribles project. Snake defeats Liquid, destroying REX and his plans.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty: This sequel replaced Snake as the main character early on, dividing fans. Players controlled Raiden, who infiltrates Big Shell to stop the Sons of Liberty, led by Solidus Snake,another clone of Big Boss and Raiden's adoptive father. The game revealed deeper conspiracies involving The Patriots and ended with Raiden defeating Solidus, solidifying his place in the series.

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater: Delta revisits Snake Eater, a prequel exploring the origins of Big Boss, aka Naked Snake. Players experience his transformation into the legendary soldier and eventual villain through epic battles against the Cobra Unit and dynamic, survival-focused gameplay.
