No this camera is not compatible with PSVR, you will still be needing old camera. This is only for recording or streaming. Which is pretty useless for me so I returned.

USB, but it has to be plugged into one of the USB ports on the back of the PS5. It won't work on the front connection.

Q: Has anyone had trouble getting the PS5 to recognize the PlayStation portion of the camera? My PS5 works with the HD part but says the PlayStation side isn't connected. Weird since it just uses one USB connector for the camera.

    The mechanism that holds the camera up can be adjusted easily as a stand. Picture quality is just “ok” but it gets the job done. Make sure you have enough lighting ro give the image quality the best chance.

    I wanted this camera so I could continue streaming like I did with my PS4. The camera itself is great! Quality is lovely, the features are cool if you have a set up with a green screen. However, the PS5 streaming UI is horrible. I much preferred PS4's. So, I've opted for getting a capture card to stream via PC. This camera cannot be used on a PC despite being a USB camera. So now it's literally useless to me. Sad, because I really do love it.
