ported horriblyI've played through the introduction to rayman 2 a lot, and that does wear down my opinion of the game, but this is not a good version of the game. it's uncomfortable to move, there's touchscreen based movement too, but that's not very good either. and this version lost some quality porting down to a handheld scale. the n64 version of this game is better, but if you want rayman 2, get the ps2 version, that's probably the best version of rayman 2 too date

Could Have Been BetterI am a person who has never played Rayman 1, 2, or 3. For playing this game for the first time, I didn't get that great of a first impression. I think that they could have done better with the graphics and the sound. I think that the sound is horrible. Background sounds, like the nature scenes and everything like that, are exceptionally good but I think that the character sounds could have been way better. Rayman doesn't even have a voice and nether does Glooboox. I think that graphics could have benn better too. Everything is pixelated in the game. The thing that i like about this game is that there is a touch-screen slide pad so it gives gamers a brake from the original D-pad.

Good game for the dsI played Rayman games on the ps2, and they were so fun. Then when I heard that they had one on the ds, I just had to try it out. So i went to Gamestop and bought it for a great price. Then I put in my ds and tried it out - it was awesome. The graphics were very good for a ds game, the storyline was ok, and it was very similar to the other rayman games, and the controls were very easy to learn. If you are a rayman fan you will love it. Throwing your hands while flying with your ears, can be fun as you face pirates, to save raymans friend globox. It took me a while to beat the whole game. But i would definitely recommend buying it. You can use the stylus in it to move, but it's easier to use the control pad. Rayman ds is very fun and enjoyble and isn't to hard, and not to easy and no regrets on buying it.
