If you require a free hand for tasks like holding a lantern or carrying a small animal, a Sawed-Off Shotgun is a more effective option, providing substantial power at close distances. For hunting small game, the Varmint Rifle is the better choice as it causes less damage to the skin and meat than larger caliber guns. In situations involving one or two opponents, the Springfield Rifle, although it has a slower firing rate, delivers higher damage. The Dead Eye feature is a powerful asset, briefly slowing time during combat to enhance targeting accuracy against enemies.
