About the Author:

Kohei Horikoshi, hailing from Aichi, Japan, was born in 1986. He garnered attention in 2006 with an Honorable Mention for the Tezuka Award, and after publishing various short stories in Akamaru Jump, he made his mark in Weekly Shonen Jump with his first serialized series, Oumagadoki Zoo, in 2010. His third series in this prestigious magazine is the widely acclaimed My Hero Academia.
