What do weird baby pods, a bloody Mads Mikkelsen singing and one of the most highly-regarded game developers of all-time have in common? Death Stranding. It’s one of the most anticipated games of 2019. The PlayStation 4 exclusive is legendary game creator Hideo Kojima’s first game since leaving Konami.
Developer Kojima Productions has set out to create an ambitious, genre-bending, open-world game as their first release, and it’s as equally exciting as it is haunting.
Death Stranding places you in the role of Sam Bridges (played by Norman Reedus aka Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead). You’ll set out on a journey to save the world from a supernatural threat that takes over the world. To do that, you’ll have to break down the walls that divide society and create Strands between them.
Reconnect the Shattered World: As Sam Bridges, you’ll be tasked with reconnecting the disconnected remnants of the world around you to avoid extinction.

Starring Some Notable Names: The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus, Bond-villain Mads Mikkelsen, former Bionic Woman Lindsay Wagner and director Guillermo Del Toro are just a few of the big names who star in the game.
Death Stranding is currently slated to release exclusively on the PS4 on November 8, 2019. There will also be a Collector’s Edition releasing the same day, which includes the Steelbook case, the Full-sized BB Pod Nendoroid Statue, the Ludens Keychain, a BRIDGES Cargo Case and special gold versions of in-game items once earned.
