Q: Is the included USB-C cable a USB-C to USB-C or is it USB-C to USB.

Best Answer :

It's USB-C to USB-A. With "Type A" being the large, rectangular wide connector typically found on Windows computers, where you have to make sure it's not upside-down while trying to plug it in. I'm a bit surprised that the Series S/X didn't opt for C to (shining) C, since those cables can be plugged right in, ready to go in either direction, especially for a next-gen console (and a growing number of computers have at least one Thunderbolt/Firewire type port which is compatible)... But, a decision was made I guess. At least it ensures older PCs can still accept the controller for PC gaming. Hope that helps!

I was told they are compatible with the XBOX One. While they do work, they keep disconnecting for the console. Overall, I love the controllers.

Takes some getting used to the sticky-ish buttons but the grips are nice & I like the new d-pad design.

I feel like it’s a Microsoft thing atm, but it has connection issues. If the batteries die it will not connect to Xbox unless you restart the whole system. Other than that it’s great

What’s the difference?

It loves to eat batteries in like 4 hours of play time, same problem with the Xbox one controller. The two noticeable differences of the X controller is the screen shot button which is much easier to take screenshots and clips. The only down side to the new button is I alway click by accident. The other difference which is my favorite feature is the grip on the controller, it feels much more comfortable.
