No, if this drive was a drive with those speeds it would cost more than 5x the price. This drive is to be used as a drive to play Xbox One games and as a "cold storage" for Xbox Series X|S games to make room on the internal SSD. Meaning they can be stored here in case you don't want to play them but also don't want to have to download the whole game again.

YES YOU CAN I HAVE A 7TB I AM ABLE STORE THE SERIES X GAMES THEN TRANSFER THEM LATER .WITH NO ISSU SO FAR ;BUT DO HAVE TO PLAY THEM WITH A SSD DRIVE

So if I'm reading the questions correctly this is HDD? Why are they marketing it for Series X then, when it requires SSD.

External HDD and SSD alike can be used for backwards-compatible (Xbox Original, Xbox 360, and Xbox One) titles on Xbox Series Consoles. Standard USB-based SSD and HDD cannot be used for Xbox Series titles, so this still functions as it is originally advertised.

This hard drive is perfect for transferring memory to and from your hard drive $60 cheaper than the memory expansion on the Series X. Downside: You cannot play series X games off this Hard Drive which was to be expected for buyers, but don't buy this with for that feature because it doesn't work like that. This is perfect if you have gamepass and want to transfer whole games you aren't playing to a larger storage while you download newer titles on your main hard drive.

I've been using Seagate for y e a r s N Y E A R S, n I luv em, In about 15 yrs of Seagates and building w Seagates, I've only ever had a problem 1 time. The one issue (hardware) I ever had was w a new drive. I contacted customer service and they replaced it,( in about 3 days by air) if i remember correctly So I don't have a problem trusting the product. Also it comes with the Hard Drive Data recovery subscription (if you ever need it) . Also this thing looks absolutely sunning! The pictures on the site do not do it justice. I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE :-)
