It's a pretty decent golf game. The graphics are kinda weak. The ball looks almost square. But the mechanics are good if you enjoy basic golf. I used to play the tiger woods games and I enjoy being able to add spin to my ball and such even if some think its cheating. This game doesnt have that feature. The most you can do is add loft or put draw/fade on it. So if you like basic normal golf it's a good game I suppose.
Good selection of courses, decent physics engine usage. Slightly frustrating putting mechanism, but I've only played it for a few weeks
Great game with good graphics. The play is fun and challenging but not overly so. The wind does seem to have more of an impact than other games I have played. No cheats for putting and shots. The one thing I wish is for the ability to upgrade clubs and other gear. You can customize some in the tournament mode, but nothing in just playing your character. Overall a fun game with an unlimited number of courses to play because you can design and play others designs.
I am a golf addict and this is the perfect game to get my fix during the off season and inclement weather days.
A lot more realistic than EA. No "cheating" features like path of ball on the green etc. Swings aren't so forgiving in this game unlike EA. Doesn't take much to hook or slice the ball or get "off center". PUTTING IS AWESOME!!!. Need just the right touch to sink 'em. Play all 18 holes and the REALLY cool thing is that you can make your own golf course to play with others online or whatever, so in effect you have TONS of courses to play. If you're "in" to golf, get this game.
