The gameplay bring backs memories of old SNES titles like U.N. Squadren. The game has an interesting story, amazing gameplay and graffics but its incredibly difficult due the shear randomness of enemy shots. Its possible to get the sense of a pattern but their is a fine line between obsorbing damage and no damage. Not to mention that getting hit only once causes your plane to lose all power ups, which are completly recoverable, but that simple mechanic really put a hamper on my enjoyment of the game. Their is no health bar, and the levels are timed. Each hit your plane takes docks your time, and yet another mechanic the takes away from enjoyment. This game is pretty much an arcade style CYA. Its worthy of a playthrough, I did not see any replay value, as it requires the players to invest a large amount of time in order to memorize and master each level, which is neccasssy to unlock acheivements. Still, in my opinion, 3 stars. This game has potential to be remade or potential fo a sequeal with much a more forgiving yet rewarding gameplay experience.
It's a side scrolling shooter that is obnoxiously difficult from the get go, on EASY. No warning in difficulty spikes, no time to get accustomed to controls, no margin for error.
I was looking for a basic shoot-em-up. Unfortunately not the case. The weapon upgrades are too difficult and rare. Every level had a time limit and boss just shoots too many bullets. Don’t recommend it.
Reminds me of the old side scrolling video games I grew up playing, but with much better graphics. Super fun.
I really enjoy this game the moment I got it home and start playing it.But I must say at first it get very crazy on the screen with all the bullets coming at you.but in no time you should be able play at your own paste.
