Me and my friend once we played we couldn’t put it down for 5 hrs
This game would be the best Gears of War game I've played except for two things: most of the DLC maps for it are remakes (though they are REALLY good,) and The Coalition cut back on total Lance ammunition back up. Campaign is great so far, Horde Mode 3.0 is more complex but familiar enough, and the multiplayer takes advantage of the new moves and weapons that have their own unique abilities and personalities that are balanced.
Great start for a rebooted series! The gameplay is new with new weapons, modes, and melee animations and abilities. The campaign (though not as focused on as much as multiplayer,) a fresh start for a new trilogy... possibly. However, people are more used to Marcus Fenix and probably like him as a better character than JD, but you can only do your first character once. Multiplayer is great, with all of the things I mentioned in the second sentence. Horde 3.0 mode is great, though not as simple as the previous gears Horde with the classes (I liked it with the same abilities, guns, and ammo,) but it does keep the game moving, new, and interesting. The only thing that I would not give it a 10 out of 10 for is the format. I specifically bought this game to support Gamestop. If my disc gets scratched, I am out of the game. That is no one's fault, but it is nice to be able to redownload it on the Xbox One and Windows 10 (to which I don't have, because I am an Apple person.) Anyway, on the bright side, I can bring it over to a friend's house!!!
This is an amazing boost from an already stellar franchise, it brings a human element to the gaming world. these "next gen" games are also appealing because of the story line(s) to the casual onlookers who enjoy a great action flim. it holds the attention of everyone. I'm Hooked!!! Sincerely, Mad 1
i love the sound play and the game play. love the story mode. is something I can't pull this game down. I love it. . hope there's a gears of war 5 in the future .
