Rated 4 out of 5 by Green things jump from perfect for two people. ONLY!!!! I discovered overcooked one when it was free on Xbox live game of the month. I am always on the lookout for games for me and the wife to play together. So when we gave the monthly games a whirl we instantly fell in love. The fun characters, the attention to detail, the careful pacing, just the right difficulty for a multiplayer game. It was a perfect mix of difficulty, art, and gameplay we loved it. Then I tried to play it by myself. Everything turned on its head, it was move was slow, action speed was slow, and chopping was slow; the difficulty for one person more than doubled. It was dreadful. I love the game, and I highly recommended it. But strictly for two people only.

The only reason I give it four stars is because the recipie instructions are vague and are drawn. There should be some kind of animation showing the recipe to make it clearer. I really like how the stages are set up and unexpected changes in the floor plans are hilarious to deal with. Fun for the whole family and friends

Rated 5 out of 5 by AC19 from One of the best games I have ever played I saw a video of this game a little while ago and thought it was pretty cool, but after playing it myself I am IN LOVE. The cute animations make the game feel light-hearted and fun, and the missons actually provide challenge for the players. As well, the game is not glitchy of laggy what-so-ever and it runs flawlessly, even though the console is older and the game was used. 10/10!
