Rated 3 out of 5 by Knotneeded from Don’t like Not a fan of these grips. These pads are too thick for my taste so they change the smooth shape of the controller into clunky steps on/off the pads. My controller apparently is some kind of mild upgrade to the regular controllers in that the portion under the fingers is already rubberized for the portions of the controller that go under the thumb-palm, I’ll try to find something rubberized but not thick. Having these pads on makes me appreciate how elegantly designed the Xbox one controller is out of the box sans pads. Even the Xbox elite controllers don’t have rubberized areas for the thumb-palm areas.

The only problem is if you have a keyboard or mic juction piece it makes it a little difficult to put on. But with some adjusting it works still!!

These grips make gripping the controller more cozy and less likely to drop do to the smooth surface of the controller. The grips have a very positive sticky contact to the surface of the controller so much so that there is no worry about them coming off during intense cod battle. There is however a chemical smell to the grips that smell will transfer to your hands. This smell does go away after a while though.

I took the time to lay the grips on to the controller before ever removing the backing tape to make sure I had them perfect. Once I removed the tape and properly adhered the grips to the controller (think laying out glass tint or decals), I never had a single issue. I love these grips and will pick up another set for an unused controller so I no longer have to swap out batteries just to continue playing.

They were very comfortable and easy to put on but by the second day, the rubber started to separate from the adhesive. The adhesive pad didn't come off the controller, the rubber separated from the adhesive leaving a plastic layer on my controller. had to cut off.
