InterferenceDay one clipping and cutting out. By the end of the first week was disconnecting every so often. Week 3 and the mesh around the ear is lose and about to come off. I'm not even hard on headsets. I'm a 38 year old man so I am not rough on them.

Returning! Do not buy.I have had these less than a month (thankfully) and I have had to reset them several times. I have even had to reset my xbox which is a pain. They're not worth 200 bucks. If you're gonna drop this type of money get Astros or some other great name.

SucksI bought this headset back in July of 2019. Ever since I bought it I’ve been having problems. I’ll admit first off it had great sound quality and is very comfortable and secure on your head. But it cuts in and out and my friends will say they can’t hear me or I sound like a robot. Once it unconnects from your controller, you have to reset the headset and repair it to your controller. The distance it needs from the Xbox to the headset is also horrible. I sit roughly at most eight feet from my Xbox, maybe less, and it still cuts in and out. Tonight, I was playing with my friends. Same problem as always except now it won’t turn on. It survived ten months and we all keep our tech safe, especially when it’s expensive. But for a two hundred dollar headset to only survive ten months? Nope, this headset ain’t it. So if you want great surround sound and comfortability but have terrible pairing and connection issues where you sound like mr. Roboto, then this headset is for you.

Arctis 9x - Honest ReviewWas disappointed that this headset had disconnection issues within the first hour. Steelseries has no fix online other than “adjust your wifi” and seems the community is just waiting for a software fix because apparently this hasn’t been an issue until a patch. that released in 2019... Its a shame because this is a really nice headset but it cant function wirelessly or wired so nothing more than a headset that probably paid its reviewers to cough out fives so its gonna be two stars for me.

Not worth the moneyNothing different than any other head set loses connectivity often especially on blue tooth it drops music and calls the head band is extremely annoying to play with just not what I expected for 200$
Does this item come with a DAC? Is the audio fed through optical?
Asked by: runofthemill22
This will be a direct connection to the Xbox. Much like the Turtle Beach Stealth series and Razer Thresher. It should provide fully wireless game and chat audio directly sent from the Xbox.
Knowing SteelSeries' reputation and considering the lack of top tier/high quality headsets currently available for the Xbox - I'm quite excited for this.

Does this headset have a warranty that comes standard without purchasing additionally?
Asked by: TImC89
Their website indicates that there is a year warranty applying to manufacturer defects through an authorized reseller or their website, but they may redirect to regional distributor for warranty services if it’s through a third party. Should probably contact SteelSeries for specifics unless Gamestop has warranty conditions that apply.

I assume these will also work for the ps4 either through Bluetooth or a 3.5mm Jack into the bottom of the dualshock 4?
Asked by: Ryan1385
No, this headset is built specifically for Xbox. There is no way to use it with a PS4.

Does this headset also work with PC and mobile since it has Bluetooth?
Asked by: marcus489
Yes, it can work on PC via two methods. First is if you have the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter for PC it will sync wireless with that (just like an Xbox One controller). Second you could use it with Windows via a 3.5 mm analog port on your PC or laptop (or Nintendo Switch, or Android phone for that matter). As for Bluetooth - yea it'll work with Android and iOS phone perfectly using Bluetooth.
