Worth the 50$. (Got it used)Only one charger, but battery lasts long and charges fast. If u charge over night you won’t need a second controller. Lasts all day.

Gears 5 Controller Charging StandPros:
•Solid, well built, and heavy(7.8 U.S. dry ounces or 222 grams for just the stand --- 17.7oz. or 504g with the controller and battery installed).
•All of the weight is towards the bottom of the stand and the bottom is very wide which makes it extremely stable. It's not going to get knocked over, trust me.
•The entire bottom is flat and made of a non-slip rubber material.
•Attractive and matches the Kait Diaz Controller perfectly. Same paint job, same color tones. The only difference is the plastic has a slightly rougher texture to it than the controller, but you could only tell that under really good lighting while looking really closely.
•Unobtrusive, not-too-bright charging LED on the front goes from a peachy-orange while charging to a soft, ice-white when fully charged. The white LED matches that of the controller's Xbox button, but not nearly as bright which is a good thing.
•The battery door replacement has both the official Xbox One logo on the front/top and the gold colored Locust Emblem from the game on the back/bottom. That's a nice touch that's appreciated. Also, the battery door is the same dark gray plastic as the back of the Kait Diaz Controller and not just black or something. It matches perfectly.
•So far, the 1100mAh Ni-MH battery has lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. After 20 straight hours of gameplay with rumble turned on my Xbox is showing my controller's battery as still three-quarters full via the battery symbol and reports the battery level as "Medium" in the controller details section under Xbox Accessories in System Settings.
•Universal voltage with the included adapter.
•The battery fits perfectly and tightly (you could play without the battery door on and not be afraid of the battery popping out) and it doesn't block the battery door cover from sliding on easily. You can even put a regular battery cover on; the battery doesn't protrude.
•First of all, you have to decide if all the pros I could come up with are worth FIFTY of your hard earned dollars. That's a big chunk of change that could buy you another controller or a whole lot of rechargeable batteries. For what it's worth (my opinion that is) I'm satisfied with the quality, style, and function of this charging stand for my $53.49. Would rather have had it cost me in the 25 to 30 dollar range, but I understand I'm paying a premium for this thing to be matchy-matchy with my Gears 5 special edition Xbox.
•For this charging stand to work you MUST use the included battery and ONLY their battery and their replacement battery door/cover. That means when this battery starts to go bad after so many recharge cycles unless you can get a new one from Controller Gear you are SOL on this thing ever working again. Which means at that point it's just a stand.
•The battery CANNOT be charged via the micro USB port on top of the controller like the way the official Microsoft Xbox One Play & Charge Kit battery can.
•The charging stand itself does not use a standard micro USB or USB-C port but rather an older style barrel jack AC adapter which means if you lose this adapter (or your cat chews through the thin wire like my cat does to freaking all the cords in my house) then you're off to the store for a $20 universal AC adapter kit and you have to figure out the correct output voltage and amperage and proper plug tip that fits and whether the plug is center positive or center negative. FYI, the output you would need is 5.0V @ 1.0A set to center-POSITIVE. Now, tell my why if they're using a USB charging standard like 5 volts at 1 amp why they didn't use a standard USB port??
•The fact that you have to replace the battery cover means you have to figure out what to do with the original cover and try to never lose it. That really sucks.
•The special battery cover may interfere with certain accessories that attach to the controller however I can't think of any.
•In order to use this stand and charge your controller you cannot have, or must continue to attach and remove, the controller keyboard attachment. Personally, I use the physical keyboard attachment a lot so that kinda sucks but I just keep it on another controller for searching the store or inside video streaming apps like Hulu or YouTube or whatever.
•There's no way to charge the battery without keeping it in your controller and putting it on the stand. NO EXTERNAL CHARGING. So, if your controller dies in the middle of gameplay you're still going to need more batteries on hand and the rechargeable battery is just going to sit there dead until you're done playing and you put it back into your controller and set it on the stand to charge. This would be REALLY bad if you actually didn't have any other batteries to at least save your game and turn off your Xbox.
•While 1100mAh is a common rechargeable game controller battery capacity (it's exactly the same as a PS4 controller) it is still A LOT less than what you can get from regular AA rechargeable batteries. A single common rechargeable AA battery is going to have anywhere from a 1600 to 2200 mAh capacity rating and you'd be putting TWO of those into your controller. I have some really good rechargeables rated at 2400mAh that consistently give me 2300mAh+ through testing which means two of those in my controller are 4600mAh vs the 1100mAh battery that comes with this stand. And when they're dead I can charge them outside of the controller. So, think four times longer lasting if you buy some regular rechargeables and you can charge them separately while still using your controller.
I know it seems like I listed a lot more cons than pros but, all in all, this is an excellent controller stand to show off your Gears 5 Kait Diaz Controller with the added benefit of making it a rechargeable controller so that you (almost) never have to swap out dead batteries again. I obviously bought it and, so far, I don't regret it. Definitely keeping it even though I know sooner or later it'll be just a plastic stand and all its internal electronics will be worthless without its AC adapter and proprietary rechargeable battery. My biggest suggestion would be to find/buy at least one extra battery from Controller Gear to go with this stand; I already did. Now I'm attempting to find an adapter that will adapt either a Micro USB tip or USB-C tip into a center-positive barrel jack plug tip to go into the back of this charging stand. Can't wait for the day when these types of controller stand thingies will just wirelessly charge our controllers.

Sold separately!!!I think this is a decent charging stand. Matches my limited edition controller and Xbox. Does it's job as needed. My only freaking complaint is why is it a limited edition skin that is sold separately from the limited edition bundle? Why isn't it a part of the bundle that the skin was for?
