The challenge is good but not so difficult that you feel sad just by starting the game. I feel powerful and not like I'm going to die every moment of game play. I totally love how this is different from the others. I like it. It feels like a game and not an emo swamp.

Ive been playing this game for about 4 months and still have things i havent done

I bought this game at the request of my 17 year old son. He said it's difficult, but great to play.

Overall, this game -Dark Souls: Scholar of the First Sin- had great gameplay and I loved to find new things in the world, but then there were parts in the games like the No-Man's Wharf were too difficult and you had to do this part for about 4 hours even if you were good. For a beginner' it is virtually impossible. I had to replay part of the story because of data issues and I got through the No-Man's Wharf the first time but the second time was impossible 0.0. (Still haven't finished it)

If you havent played dark souls 2 yet get the Scholar of the first sin. If you have dark souls 2 and no DLC's get this. But if you are like me with dark souls 2 all the dlcs and seasons pass dont even buy this. I thought it was like the one on the new gen but, no its the same no forlorn, no dragon in tower of flame, no statues everywhere, and no ogre in forest of fallen giants. When i saw that forlorn stuff i ran down to gamestop and bought this brand new... i now will never play dark souls 2 until i get it on a new gen console
