I am one of the people who pre-ordered the Pre-Sequel and got the Season Pass the moment it was released, under the impression that even if the DLC had half the scope and value of Borderlands 2's, it would be worth it. But instead, I learned that even cloud nine can rain on the parade... This is the extremely unimpressive DLC lineup included with this outrageous price tag: 1. The Handsome Jack Doppelganger Pack. Adds Handsome Jack's body double as a playable character. Aside from some unique dialog, this adds nothing to the experience besides a reason to play through the story again and again and AGAIN. 2. The Holodome Onslaught + UVHM & Level Cap Increase. With the promise of telling the entire story, condensed and abbreviated into one arena, this actually sounded interesting and intense, as if you would have hordes of enemies thrown at you and have to fight all the bosses of the game chronologically in one frantic fell swoop. Not quite. Sure there's some new dialogue that sums up the story and some cameos from previous Vault Hunters, but what you ACTUALLY get are two Powersuit bosses and the exact same enemies that you've been fighting for the entire game. Well, except for the Bullymong Guardians. At least there's one new(ish) enemy. And the arena itself looks like just another room in Tycho's Ribs that you've seen a thousand times before, and will again, with the addition of UVHM and 10 more levels. 3. The Baroness. Are you sick of the story yet after playing it literally 15+ times?... Well, how 'bout you do it AGAIN... ANOTHER 3 times. The Baroness DLC adds yet another character, Sir Hammerlock's vicious sister, and... nothing else. We're at 3 out of 4 here, people... 4. Apparently the last DLC included in the Season Pass is going to be Claptrap-centric, taking you inside the mind of the machine you hate to love. And unless this DLC literally blows my socks off in the realest way, I can't possibly understand why any of you should waste your hard-earned money on this... I did... And I'm rather grumpy. So in summary, you have ONE SINGLE upcoming story expansion, along with a run-of-the-mill Borderlands arena-style DLC of wasted potential, and 2 more characters to play through all of it with another 6 times.., If, for some unknown reason, I wanted to play through the sub-par story again for a 16th or 18th time... I would start another Claptrap. Just sayin'. So my advice? Wait for the Claptrap DLC to be released and, if it's any good, buy it individually for $10 instead of blowing a whole lot of money on the rest of this worthless time-wasting filler. And to Gearbox, 2K, whoever,,, Give me some effing content to justify what I paid for this and maybe my review will change. And if not, I want my money back... with INTEREST for wasting my time.
