Product Description

The game is set in 2137, 15 years after the events of Alien and 42 years before the events of Aliens. It focuses on Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda who, while investigating her mother's disappearance, is ordered to go to the space station Sevastopol to recover data that could help locate her mother, unaware that an Alien has already infested the station.

Fifteen years later, Amanda, now a Weyland-Yutani employee, hears that the flight recorder of her mother's ship, the Nostromo, has been recovered at the remote trading station Sevastopol. The temptation for her to finally understand what happened is too much to resist. When the crew arrive at Sevastopol, they find something is desperately wrong. It all seems to be connected to an unknown menace, stalking and killing deep in the shadows.

In order to uncover the truth about her mother, Amanda is forced to confront the same terrifying thing that separated them.

Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger. Fifteen years after the events of Alien™, Ellen Ripley's daughter, Amanda enters a desperate battle for survival, on a mission to unravel the truth behind her mother's disappearance.

As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien.

Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.

Absolutely terrifying!!! I've played all the horror games, but nothing prepared me for this... I'm about five hours into the game and I may have to stop playing it. My nerves are shot! I've never been on the edge of my seat in regards to a video game like I am with this game. I'm a huge ALIEN movie fan and I love this game, but it's got me so freaked out, I may not be able to finish the game. The game is hard! The sound is terrifying! The enemies are brutal! This game is for top notch gamers only! The only thing that keeps me coming back to this game is my sheer love for the movie franchise, but again, I probably won't make it through the entire game. I'm 45 years old, I'm not new to the gaming world, I'm telling you that this game will haunt you and wear you out! It's scarier than any movie I've ever watched!

The game itself is amazing. The gameplay is a bit less. Sure, it's a horror game, but there are a LOT of puzzles in it that you are required to complete to continue. The alien is a constant threat, and gives the game most of the "horror" mood, but for all the time spent on it, it still has a few bugs. Even so, I would recommend this game to anyone who wants the feeling of being hunted. Even after I stop playing this game, I still look over my shoulder constantly. The graphics in this are top-notch, and the soundtrack.... Unbelievable. The music is incredible, and the sounds of the alien will make me jump even in the real world. My only complaint is the save system. You are required to manually save at certain checkpoints, and there isn't a quick-save system for when you get off. I get the feeling of tension that it delivers, but it has been a constant source of frustration for me. Other than that, this game is perfect. 95/100.

Gaming War with Outlast & Slender the Arrival.

The game is overall amazing and spectacular, has great sound, graphics, last appealing and gameplay. 10/10!!! Though I do realise this is going to become a horror blockbuster that can go to a gaming war with outlast and I'll explain why. Outlast, Slender The Arrival and Alien Isolation take place in different locations that are stranded but what makes Alien Isolation scarier is that everyone is killed and your in space. Outlast and Slender takes place in the present. Future vs Present, future will be much more scarier.
