As a Saw fan, this game intrigued me and immersed me in the world that Jigsaw and his maniacal games inhabit. The game allowed me to get even more insight into the story and world of Saw. However, while it excels in story and fan service, it lacks in gameplay. Severely. The combat is broken (your best weapon in any situation would be your fists), the puzzles are intriguing at first, but after the first couple of levels, it gets incredibly tedious. The traps, however, are interesting. They add new puzzles into the fray and also forces you to make the decision between life and death for others, not just yourself. Other traps, like the shotgun traps, are unfair and often cause you to die more than the broken and often one-sided combat, as tripwires are virtually invisible, and can only be noticed when you're right on top of them and paying explicit attention to the ground in front of you. Also, a personal gripe of mine is the fact that Billy the Puppet looks..wrong. All wrong. But other than that, if you're a Saw fan or you just want to play a game focused on puzzles, albeit tedious ones, you should play this surprisingly decent movie tie-in game.
