Love playing old games, because you get tired of playing the same game

Great with College Hoops 2k8. And it is a lot of fun

This was the best 2K Sports NBA game ever made on the current generation of consoles! I still prefer to play this edition today over any of the more recent ones. The main reason I say this is THE CAMERA ANGLES ON NBA 2K8 ARE FAR SUPERIOR than any of the more current editions!! There is literally about 20 different camera angles to choose from. My favorite is the FLOOR CAM. it actually makes you feel like you are down on the court actually playing the game. I do not enjoy playing from a perspective of someone watching the game in the stands. I like being down in the action not watching from a distance. For some reason after 2k8 they eliminated most of these camera angles, including the one I enjoyed playing the most. I have rented every 2k basketball game since hoping they would change them back but it never happened. Needless to say I never bought a newer version and still enjoy playing NBA 2K8 to this day!! I guess 2K sports has went the way of EA Sports this Generation and has eliminated many of the features and options that made the game customizable and likable for no apparent reason. Madden and EA NHL games have had the same unfortunate problem which is why I also no longer buy them anymore! It boggles the mind how you get less options on newer editions of a game! Do yourself a favor and give NBA 2K8 or NCAA 2K8 a try!! You cant beat the price!!

Nba2k8 is a gret game for basketball fans that want easily play Basketball. 2k8 allows you to easily shoot, block or steal compared to that of 2k11, 12, and 13.

nba 2k 'o8 is a good game at first but you then get bored of it, i would recamend it because the price is low and its a lot of fun at first,

I bought this game trying out the 2k series for once, and I will never make that mistake again. Ok, first of all, The NBA live series are much better than the 2k series. Listen, in NBA live the camera angles are much better, and the players and plays are smoother. Everything is so hard to control in this game, it bugs me a lot. And you can foul out so easily in this game, it is weird. You also cant make your own practice facility in NBA 2k8, but you can in NBA live 08. I do personally think that the older NBA live games (like NBA live 05 and 06 for xbox) are better because you have better camera angles and it is easier to steal the ball and not get fouled for it, but if I had to choose one of them to play, it woul definetley be NBA live 08

This game is great.The game play is great. The association mode is great. Take your players to practice and win games. The character customization is great. You get to choose your players stats and make them great 3pt shooters. The playoffs are also great. You can enter your created team or just enter one of the original NBA teams. The rosters are obviously no longer accurate, but that doesn't really matter. The sound quality is great. Every time you make a shot the crowd boos (if your not the home team) and yell if you are. The controls are difficult in the beginning, but you get used to them. Playing with four players is fun to. Go on against each other or play in the same team. You can also play in the seasons. Everything about this game is great. The graphics are good, but when your game gets scratched or old, the announcers start saying the wrong things. And the top three plays and Jordan brand player gave it a more life like experience.

Nba 2k8's graphics are amazing, you could really see the sweat coming off their faces. In nba live 08 when you look at ray allen it looks like he's just got beat up on the street. In 2k8 he really does look like ray allen as do all the other players! The controls are just the basic ones but one thing I would give a 9 is the jumping. They jump slower than usual! The camera angles are just amazing. It's like you're on the television looking at allen iverson from the top of the court from the slam cam or something. As for the gameplay and season they upgraded a few things also. And I would say it's much, much better than last years 2k7. I don't really know for sure if they had a trigger for the shooting last year, but they do now and it helps a lot. Buy this game today; it's amazing.

this is a very realistic game with a nice amount of modes. the graphics are alright but they have some good anomations tht makes it look so real. the presentation is a step down from last year but it still is hangin in there. this is bettr than nba live 08 by a mile it has better gameplay but the graphics are better in live but i prefer gameplay over graphics. it is verty fun online ith not too much lag and great leagues and tournaments a great sports fan would love too egt there hands on this one if they are lookin for it. there is not too many good basketball games out there so it is limited but this one just brings next gen to a whole new level for sports games tht is. they got rid of the 24 7 mode and added the 3 point and dunk contest and previous modes which is a good amount of fun
