Product Description

Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is an Action RPG game based on the universe of Kingdom Under Fire series. Where as the previous Kingdom Under Fire series were Action RTS titles that recreated realistic fantasy battlefields of massive scale, Circle of Doom focuses on the development of one character with easy-to-learn game system and control mechanics. The words Action and RPG may sound familiar to many gamers, but Circle of Doom is filled with never-before-imagined innovation and fresh ideas. Players will explore randomly generated vast dungeons and face off monsters swarming the screen in thousands and attacking from all directions along the floors, walls, and ceilings of the dungeons.
The combats in Circle of Doom stay clear of the traditional RPG style, where damage marks/numbers are exchanged in turn with the occasional display of fancy magic effects. Players have to actively engage in dynamic battle and create effective combos with various weapons to defeat the monsters. During the heated battle, everything in the environment can be destroyed and affect the movement of enemies.

Sometimes carving out a hole in the wall may lead to a new path or unearth valuable items. (Forget the barrels and chests cliche.) The heroes will find increasingly devastating and spectacular ways to purge the evil in the forms of new abilities and weapons, or even create their own arsenal by combining the existing ones.

Circle of Doom also delivers a complex and twisted story plot in a very different and new way. However, players are not forced to understand and follow the story. Even during a multiplayer game, one player's choice to stick with the plot will not slow the others from journeying onward.

  • Action RPG based on Kingdom Under Fire universe.
  • 4-player co-op mode via Xbox Live
  • 6 unique characters who can wield 5-6 different types of weapons each.
  • 50+ abilities, 60+ enhancements, and infinite combinations of weapon+ability+enhancement.
  • 70+ monsters ranging from 3-foot Goblins to towering behemoths.
  • What you see is what you can destroy.
  • Innovative story delivery.
  • Randomly generated dungeons.

Not a game worth investing any time into horrible gameplay, terrible storyline.... Kingdom Under Fire, Circle of Doom. Simply leaves you with a bad taste.... the game mechanics are dull to a boredom, gameplay is unrewarding unsatisfying theres nothing there to give you a reason to pursue gameplay....

The game is underwhelming; but I find that is part of its charm. This hack and slash game is a mixture of bland and beautiful. The frame rate sometimes drops while your playing, but overall I like playing KUF: Circle of Doom. You can customize and (to some extant) level up the characters. I'd only buy this game if you need/want another hack and slash game.

The title for this game is Kingdom Under Fire:Circle of Doom, but I think it should be called Xbox Is On Fire:RROD because that's what you would constantly be thinking of while playing this game. Constantly bying your time with your console hoping that it doesn't give you that all so wonderful feeling of the random red ring of death. The system, I think, instead of red ringing needs to shoot out some kind of confetti like what happens during New Years or at a birthday party, meanwhile yelling " SURPRISE! "

If you ever played the Kingdom Under Fire game for the original Xbox and enjoyed it and thought that the creators would be smart and make another game like that one, well you are surely mistaken. instead they made a random game where you are all alone instead of commanding different groups of fighters and you go on random quests that dont mean anything to the player. forget about commanding spearmen or archers or knights and basically you have a game where it is you versus everything and anything for no reason at all. the creators should have just stuck with the original game style and ran with that because that was an outstanding game to have. dont waste your money on this game and just pray that a game like the original kingdom under fire comes out

When i first got this game i thought " i cant control an army but at least i got the cool heros". Sadly not even that was enough. Easily repetitive levels with no clear indication of what to do. Abilities can only be.gained through the finding and killing of certain creatures, and are often not worth it. Honestly it was like some one just took the name of a great rts and pit on a halfass construcrtion of a rpg. Really dissapointing,

Dungeon Crawler

Reminiscent of my youth playing games such as Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, Champions of Norrath, and the Lord of the Rings. These type of games are a dying breed, but those who were around to play the dungeon crawlers know what it is about and can most likely appreciate this game. Graphics are above average, gameplay is not very fluid, you massacre enemies by the hundreds. Standard RPG setup, like i said if you played those games you may like this one

The games controls are extremely difficult to operate! The game in itself, is boring to the third level. The object of the game is to slash at lizard creatures with pikes every 2.3 seconds. During that time 30 or so lizards can hit you all they like. You must move about until it's your turn to strike again. They (the geniuses who created the game) thought this would be fun and challenging...nope. Don't waste your money on this game, used or otherwise. Get, "Fable II" instead. You'll be glad you did.
