Product Description

Set in a dark fantasy world, Hunted: The Demon's Forge is an unforgettable cooperative action game. Taking control of either E'lara, a ranged weapon expert, or Caddoc, a master swordsman, you must use a variety of weapons, powerful spells, and cover tactics to battle your way through menacing dungeons, overgrown ruins, and downtrodden towns. Discover secrets and complete co-op-based puzzles to discover answers to the game's deep, dark mysteries.
The dark ages have become corrupted. Heinous creatures have emerged from underground. Townsfolk across the land are disappearing. Upon the promise of their fortune in gold, mercenaries E'lara and Caddoc must discover where the innocent villagers have been taken. Their journey will lead them on a dark path where they will encounter death, slavery, and sacrifice. Travel deep within the world of Kala Moor... and to the secrets of The Demon's Forge.

  • Dark Fantasy Shooter Powered by the Unreal 3 engine, the world of Hunted comes to life in a thirdperson dungeon crawl with the intensity and action of a modern-day shooter.
  • Co-op at a Distance Combine E'lara's ranged attacks with Caddoc's melee expertise to pull off gruesome co-op kill moves, perform special attacks, and heal one another regardless of where they in relation to one another on the battlefield. The characters' differing combat methods allow player strategy to vary from one playthrough to the next.
  • Two Ways to Fight Wade into the thick of the fight using melee skills, or tactically use cover combat to dispatch hordes of creatures with bows and spells.
  • Spell-Powered Combat Powerful magic spells can be used to boost your partner's combat effectiveness and even the odds against increasingly formidable enemies.

I will admit that the only reason I bought the game was for its multiplayer capabilities, but after playing the game for about an hour I realized that it was a major waste of my time. The graphics were poor (yes I understand that the game is older), the enemies were extremely overpowered considering this is the beginning of the game, and I still haven’t figured out if there even is a plot.

I picked it up in a bargen bin.for a simplistic action-"rpg" game supported by bethesda its actually pretty good,i will say this the music score was good and very fitting to the world of the game.i beat it on hardcore with almost no issue.some areas of the game where challenging.with the right leveling and following my gamer gut i sailed right through it.some of the puzzles where annoying simple.so if you get stuck.before reloading try shooting at things you havent yet or pushing an object you didnt before.let alone search the entire grounds before reloading, never know what youll find.one "issue" i found was the Team mate AI would give the asset magica damage bonus at the wrong time during fights.id say this game is for casual audience who hasnt really played any kind of RPG.some core gamers might enjoy it.Deffently worth checking it.

Well executed game. Obviously lacking in some areas of classic RPG's, such as an inventory system, shopping, and so on, but overall a good game for anyone that enjoys a good quick co-op RPG. At times it resembles more of a shooter Gears of War style. I felt that this is a great game for the price.

CO-OP ELDER SCROLLS?! No not really...

... but that doesn't make it a bad game. This game has its flaws and they will be apparent to you as soon as you start playing and its not exactly what you would expect from Bethesda, but for a older cheap game its pretty good. One of the biggest things I look for in game is Co-op play so I was happy to see this game include that. I was thinking an action rpg with elements of Skyrim or Oblivion mixed in that you could play with a friend. Well, its not anything like Skyrim and Oblivion and the co-op really isn't worth playing in my opinion. For whatever reason the co-op mode does away with almost all the cut scenes which means you don't understand the story if you aren't playing solo. (At least this is what it did for split screen) It also makes the somewhat wonky controls of the game more apparent when playing split screen. I have also heard of major technical issues associated with co-op as some reviews attest to on here. However, I really enjoyed the concept of this game. It is not the best action RPG, but it retained enough redeeming qualities that I could say I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bargain game to play. The environments and graphics are surprisingly good and there are plenty of secrets to find throughout the world, although be prepared for a fight when you do. The rpg elements are dumbed down, but they are good enough to satisfy. I also really liked the different weapons, abilities and lore. The story is not half bad either. I would also recommend playing on casual or gamer. This game is pretty hard and there will be areas that you will be challenged even on these lower difficulty levels. And since checkpoints can be a bit spread out, these challenging times can add unneeded frustration. Don't be afraid to buy this game.

This game is a fairly short but well executed game. There are various types of weapons and magic abillities, both epic upgrades as well. the riddles and puzzles are fun to figure out. It is a great game to play with friends. I think you will find this game well worth the price.
Good buy

Found this game cheap. Reviews were decent. I like a good action/rpg game. Started playing online with a friend. We started on hardcore difficulty, then reduced to gamer. About halfway into chapter 1 we downgraded to casual (easiest) difficulty. Player characters are very limited in movement (think Resident Evil 4 & 5), but enemies can move and flip and dash all they want. They have better aim, too. Controls just aren't good enough for the pace of the game. Worse yet, the servers keep bumping us, usually when we actually make some progress. Finally got to a point late in the game where things just froze completely. Very unstable game. Graphics are ok, sound is ok. Voice acting is pretty good. Story is pretty typical fantasy nonsense, not as interesting as some others. More polish and stable servers, it would be a great game.

NOT an RPG... But good action game!!!

Well everyone told me this was an RPG game so I got it and was disappointed... Its not, it has no RPG elements... NO inventory for my weapons, armor, items, etc etc... NO real character progression or development, leveling and improving skills... But.. It has lots of action and pick up stuff and use them and pick up more stuff and use them and linear dungeons which is ok and fun at times but again everyone keeps saying its an RPG its not to all who wants to play this game as an RPG. But... if you want hacking and slashing, this kind of reminds me of Mario Bros! Just the aspects of it, but if you enjoy those things then hey this is the game for you!
