Love this game. There are missions to do and viewpoints to find to open up the map more, sort of like a free roam part of the game. Also there are 100 flags hidden on rooftops to be found. Just an awesome game all around.

I played this before Arkham Asylum, but they're a lot alike. I prefer to storm everywhere than sneak.

A great game, but some imperfections

First of all, the condition of the game I received was in perfect condition. The case was in great shape and a few, but minor scratches were on the disk itself. After playing this on the Xbox One, I really did like this game. The history was accurate, the aesthetics of the game's appearance were well designed, etc. It was even better than I could play it in 1080p resolution, though some cutscenes would have a part here or there that was not translated from the original 720p resolution. That was slightly annoying at times, but it was a slight annoyance and didn't affect my view of the game much. However, what was quite strange was that Altair, the main character you play as has a modern-day American accent while all other characters speak as though they are from the cities that this story takes place. I understand that this may have been an attempt to make the current-day descendant of Altair feel like he is in the game with you, but it disturbed every time he opened his mouth. The main story in the past was interesting to some point, there were some blemishes but nothing major, but the present-day part of the story was a bit bogus. The fact that the people holding our descendant captive because they are "templars" was absurdly stupid and the 2 other characters who are overlooking the main character's experience in the Animus had little character development and the man was extreme at most everything. Again, mostly nitpicking, especially for a game as cheap as this, but a great game you will enjoy and is definitely worth the money.

Not a good fit for me

I am a new gamer and bought this to work with my Xbox One X, but there’s no subtitles, so I returned it the next day. I’m deaf, so I couldn’t understand what I was supposed to be doing and it impacted game play for me. It’s just an old game, so that’s not really a problem for most people. I can’t offer an honest review for that reason, but the part I did looked cool.
