Paris in spring. Shots ring out from a gallery. A robbery - a murder - and the beginning of another epic original Broken Sword adventure. An adventure that will hurl intrepid lawyer George Stobbart and sassy journalist Nico Collard onto the trail of a murderous conspiracy forged in the cauldron of war-torn Europe. A conspiracy whose roots lie in mysteries older than the written word. When George and Nico get together nothing is ever what it seems like. There are codes to be broken, murders to be cracked, ingenious puzzles to be solved and troublesome adversaries to be defeated. Armed only with logic, integrity and a wry sense of humour - can they outwit evil forces both ancient and modern and save mankind from impending disaster?

Classic point-and-click funPut in a couple of hours in it and enjoying it so far. Graphics and art style is nice, voice acting is good, and the controls and interface work well for a point and click adventure game. I also liked the jokes and writing and found myself laughing out loud on occasion.
As for the negatives, characters seem plain and uninspiring. The story at this point is interesting enough, but leaves a lot to be desired. The puzzles are pretty straightforward and not that difficult, but can sometimes be frustrating due to a hidden item location or weird logic solution. There is an easy to access hint system which really helped me when I got stuck.
Overall, I do recommend getting this game for adventure fans who want an enjoyable and relaxing point and click experience. Forty bucks new might be a little much for this type of game, so unless you're a fan of the series, getting it pre-owned might be the better option.

Fun, puzzle gameA lot of fun. A puzzle solving game. It starts with a theft and shooting and draws you deeper into an underworld. Some puzzles are straight forward and fairly easy. Some are convoluted and may require the use of hints.
