Great system that brings back great, nostalgic memories. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars is the fact that the remote cord is crazy short, forcing me to make an additional purchase to lengthen it. Nintendo definitely didn't take into account the technology and size of TVs today. It's no longer plausible to sit two feet from the tv anymore... you can't even see the entire screen that close. This, unfortunately, is a major negative. But the system itself is great. The quality and selection of games is perfect for me, as I've always been a die-hard Mario and Donkey Kong fan. The only other negative I want to mention is that this system does NOT have a solid state hard drive. That, combined with the fact that the remotes are, in fact, corded, and that the system is incredibly light, it's very easy to drop if you get a little too heated in your playing, or someone trips over the cord. So, i set it up with velcro strips to keep it from moving.

It takes you back to memory lane. I love playing the classics. If you love the classic super NES games then you won’t be disappointed. Love every second of it.

This thing works great straight out of the box. There aren't any junk or filler games, only the best ones! It has savestates, they are very useful for when games don't let you save often enough. The picture quality is very good and sharp, like playing on an original SNES with $50 HD Retrovision component cables through a $100-$300 high end video scaler on a modern TV. The controllers are high quality, so much better than any USB SNES controller clone you would get off Amazon or Ebay. Some people mentioned you can play these games on the Switch, which is great, but that only works if you actually have a Switch or maybe a WiiU, which I don't If you want to play some SNES games, but you don't want to buy expensive cables and even more expensive video scalers to make an original SNES look decent on your modern TV, and you don't want to buy a bunch of 25 year old SNES games off ebay at $25 a piece (not counting Earthbound which is in the hundreds of dollars range, and StarFox 2 which was never released) then this is what you want! Great system with many good games. Game selection could be better and the game controller cords are short which means you have to play close to the TV unless you buy an aftermarket remote. Games play smoothly and the save system works great for saving your spot on harder games. I would recommend this system for anyone that does not have a Super Nintendo or for those that don’t have some of the games this system offers. An original game cartridge of Earthbound, for example, costs much more than this entire system does. This system is a great way to play some of Super Nintendo’s games without having to pay a huge amount of money which some of these game titles cost. Plus, this system is compact and lightweight making it easy to take with you on vacation or when traveling.

I only gave it a 2 because the people at game stop failed to tell me that the games you play on the nes, you can also play on my switch.
