Its good but its lacking the effect you get on TV a little bit. Not much commentating. But the create your own player carrer mode is good as you start in the amatuer tour but doesnt take long to get to the nationwide tour...once you get to the nationwide you have your choice of how many rounds to play per event, in amatuer tour there is 3 events and nationwide 6-8 events...havent gotten to the PGA tour but I'm working on it...its pretty fun and I would recommend it to most people.
the new swing is alittle hard at first but it get easier. the visuals are great, and the online gaming is a good way to show off your skills
This game is pretty much the same as Tiger Woods 12. The graphics are no better and maybe even dumbed down a bit. The gameplay is still really solid though aside from some lagging after you hit your ball and it changes to the sky view of where your ball is going. The game is extremely easy, for instance I started my career and in the first tour I shot a 13 under playing on pro!!! The putting is extremely easy compared to TW 12, no confusing grid and there is pretty much no need to ask your caddy for any advice. There is a decent selection of clubs and customization but the same 5 sponsors from past games and the loading and save times are ridiculously long. I change my golfer's hat and it takes almost a full 2 minutes to save my changes. Overall the game is very fun and enjoyable but if you are a hardcore golfer that demands realism and wants a challenge this game won't be for you. Maybe wait for the price to drop. It will be $40 within the next 2 months I'm sure.
I'm an avid golfer in real life and play in college, also i have been playing the Tiger Woods games since Tiger Woods 2003 and I have seen great progress up until now. Tiger Woods 2013 is too real, it loses its fun factor when you get as frustrated on the course as you do off of it. If i want to play golf i can go to the course and have a good time, but when i get home and play Tiger Woods i want to be able to shoot those crazy low scores. Then i can up the difficulty if i want a more pressing challenge. As much as i hate to say Tiger Woods 2013 is not a game i would recommend to most people.
