Some Minor problems, but ok

This controller seems to have minor tech difficulties when it come to pausing the game automatically or make a character go another direction. Otherwise, it's OK when it comes to playing games with this controller.

SUCKSUCKSUCK BAD WARNING DO NOT GET
midnightwolfxx

I bought this controller so I could play my favorite game..... the controlling becomes SO bad, that I can't control my character half the time then he runs into random things and I have to reset it. It's quite the hassel. I love wireless controllers but.... this one was just a waste of money. You might as well buy a $2 controller if you're thinking about this one. I'm sure it would work better than this one. I still have it after all the times I've dropped it.. but that doesn't count for all the times it sent me into enemies, causing me to die. Or just randomly died on me for no reason while in the middle of a hardcore boss battle. I know this is long, and I'm sorry. But I am WARNING you. DO NOT... D-O N-O-T get this, you WILL regret it.

wireless is really convenient but the right stick has a big problem. it keep moving my camera view without any touching. even after i turn off the ps2, the light on the controller still keep flashing and waste my battery. i have to change back to wire controller to move on my game (who can still play game when the right stick keep doing 360 degree rotating camera view automatically? it also cause serious headache!). regret with buying it. waste money!! :(

I bought the gamestop brand wireless ps2 controler and over all its ok but one of the things that bothers me is the right analog stick gives me issues and when i play shooters it likes to either look up or down by its self without me touching the stick... so yeah over all its not bad but its not great either but not worth the price

When I first started looking at getting a wireless controller for my PS2, some of the negative reviews almost had me thinking this would not work. However, I decided to take a chance on it and here's what I found ou;, this controller is not too shabby. Besides the plus of being wireless the range is pretty good. I've played from the other end of the room, which is a good distance between ten and twenty feet away. However, this is also as long as your batteries still got lots of juice. Also, I noticed that everything is just a little more close together, which I really like. I don't know what it is but I feel I got more button control. Speaking of buttons, you will have some fresh contoller button stickage from time to time but it's extremely minor. Getting the thing synced up is also a snap. Now for the negative stuff. First, the batteries WILL DRAIN FAST. I know this is usually a huge negatory for gamers who don't want to pay for a butt load of battries. However, this controller is worth it. I say you get a good three to four weeks on the batteries (give or take). Also, there is a small risk of having the connectivity being a little bothersome and making your controller do things it shouldn't. Good news on that is it is rare and only ususally happens when you need fresh batteries. So no sweat there. Overall, if your really looking for a wireless controller, GameStop has a pretty decent peice of hardware here. All you really need to do is give it a try.

Just getwired its worth it in the long run

In my most honest opinion DO NOT GET THIS CONTROLLER! It will be alot more valued if you just get a wired controller for a little extra cash, believe me its worth it. A few months back I bought a ps2 to relive some old game I used to love playing and inside when I opened the package inside I saw a wireless controller, at first I though awesome ut I was sooooooo wrong! The upside no wire. The downside the controller lags, it drains batteries and thats only more money you have to spend in the long run, and it doesn't get much distance, and it doesn't turn itself off so if you forget to turn it off then you just wasted batteries. so just get a wired controller!

Thx god for 5 year warranty
AJCk19

Pros: It is wireless, 5 year warranty Cons: short lifespan, heavy, thick, weak vibration, got to give up 4 bucks to fix This thing seems like it only has a life span of 1 to 4 months, but it has a 5 year warranty so I guess you can't complain all that much. Yet still, you have to give 4 dollars up every time you want the darn thing fixed. Which is very irritating. A used sony controller has a longer life span than this thing and I'm not being sarcastic. Besides that, its' response time is almost perfect. It is a bit thicker than the regular sony controller and a little bit heavier (including the batteries), yet you would think the vibration function would be better which it is not. Of course the best feature it has is that it is wireless. When all is said and done it could have got a 10. I really am enjoying it, but the lifespan really hurts this controller while warranty is saving it from getting a 1. So I'll have to give it a 4 out of 10.
