Rated 5 out of 5 by Reidmere from We need more games like this. I've seen and heard many games based on movies an anime, that mostly are just "fan service", though seldom deliver that. While I never watched the show much, I collected some of the figures, just to build. Even NOT being TOO much of a Zoids fan, this game was good in it's own right. Add to it all of the references and crossed generations of characters, good level up systems, many secrets, and PvP: You got a good RPG-style game that, if having been released before Pokemon became popular, would have been the multiplayer craze everyone would be buying. Music was not too impressive, but nostalgic to some series. Graphics allowed you to customize your Zoids' appearance to a good point, and had good detail, but they lacked animations. Perhaps this is solely due to the content of the game was already full, but this is a game for casual and hardcore gamers alike: ESPECIALLY if you have siblings or friends to play it with constantly. Recommended for parents who want to encourage FRIENDLY competition and sportsmanship with their children, there's less controversial content than Pokemon, albeit saying the D word a couple of times. The biggest downfall of this game is it's poor translation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Crisscross4 from Hard not to like this game! I really enjoyed this game! As a fan of all things Zoids I felt compelled to pick this title up. I have yet to regret that decision and enjoyed every bit of this game. Although this game is notorious for its bad translations (on par with Zero Wing translations!) it is still super fun. The story is pretty easy to pick up on even with bad translations and some parts will remind you of other games...*cough, cough*Pokemon*cough, cough*. The game is very easy to play if you have ever played an RPG (Role Playing Game). Otherwise it may start out a tad tricky for those who are new to the RPG world. If you can get past all the goof translations, are a Zoids fan and can just enjoy it for what it is then this is your game. If your someone who needs a perfect translation and something that does not remind you of other RPGs or your just not a Zoids/Giant Robots fan then avoid this title.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Spider81 from This game is great for those that love Zoids^^ This game is something for those that love the ZOIDS cartoon series and the games for the gamecube. This game is a perfect addition for the GBA. Having it I've enjoyed playing it over and over and never honestly get tired of playing it. Its amazing with how many different ZOIDS that i can make and upgrade.
