I bought this to help complete my Pokemon games collection. The copy i received wouldn't bring up the Nintendo logo at the title screen no matter how many times i tried. I even tried with other Nintendo SP's, my DSlite, and a Gameboy Color, with no success. Sad that I have to pay for their mistake with shipping but glad its easy to send back. I'm sure the game is great but the copy i received was non-functioning. The single star is for the game cartridge being unplayable, not the judgement of its gameplay content.

This is pinball with the fun twist of pokemon. You try to complete your pokedex and get as many points as possible by capturing and defeating pokemon.

As a kid i had this game and i stupidly traded it with a friend for a different game.Now wanting to buy this game 'cause its fun,challenging, and has amazing grapics

I think that this game lacks the good visuals that I expected. I have seen much better graphics, but it has a lot of lasting appeal. It plays fairly well, but I have only played on the DS, so I can not say much about that. It had pretty good sound, but much better effects.

This product, although old, is very fun to play when you're bored. It is challenging, as you have to catch, hatch, and evolve 100+ Pokemon in the game. You have to be patient and try to catch certain Pokemon to complete your Pokedex, at which point you are finished with the game. When you start the game, you can choose your own controls, or use one of the preset controls, which makes it customizable. Then you choose many other settings. After that, you choose either the Ruby pinball machine or the Sapphire pinball machine. Since this game is very old, it has bad graphics, music, and interface. But that is evened out by the fact that it is very challenging and long. There is no apparent storyline, but along the game you get challenges to catch Kyogre (Sapphire only), Groudon (Ruby only), Rayquaza, Jirachi, the three Regis (Regice, Regirock, and Registeel), and many more Pokemon. I personally have not completed this game, so you can get an idea of how long this game is.
