Q: All of the images are in Japanese. Is this the American version?

Best Answer :

By the looks of the game cartridge, it looks like the American version.  It might be the Japanese version since the pictures are Japanese.  Does the game have a launguage setting?

Q: I’m interested in purchasing the Fire Emblem 7 (The Blazing Blade) for gameboy advance off of your online store but I want to make sure it’s an original and not a bootleg. I wouldn’t think GameStop would sell bootlegs but I wanted to ask first. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that Gamestop Sells 100% Original Production of each Games. In fact I believe they don't touch Bootlegs/Reproductions.

Not a bad find for a gem, was in the store for many months, kept eyeing it. The price was eh, but was a good purchase overall I suppose. Good for an old school tactical rpg on the gameboy advance

Fire Emblem 7 is probably my favorite game out of the series. This game is amazing, and I definitely recommend this if you like RPG and strategy games. If you're a fire emblem fan I think that this is a must have. But beware, this game can be a bit challenging. Now, lets talk about the cartridge. It's in pretty good shape but there is a small dent in the middle of the cartridge. I was pretty upset about that. But this is an pretty old game so I wasn't expecting it to be in perfect condition. But overall I am very happy with my purchase. Hurry up and buy this game now, the price is getting higher and higher. This is a pretty rare game.

Turn-Based Strategy At Its Finest
Sonic_Teh_Hedgehog

The Fire Emblem series is seen as one of the best turn-based RPG series out there, and this game demonstrates why. For starters, the main mechanics of Fire Emblem are easy to get into; such as the Weapon Triangle and Magic Affinity. The sprites and animations for this game are quite spectacular (especially critical hits.) The soundtrack for the game is amazing and has a lot of new and re-imagined old themes; which in the end all sound great. Fire Emblem 7 also has wonderful story and character development, with almost each character feeling unique in their own ways, as well as Support Conversations which not only allow for dialogue between two characters, but also allows for assistance in battle by increasing a unit's hit and crit rate. One of the main flaws about this game however is the lasting appeal to the game. Although this game can last you a long time, once you beat the main story modes as well as the optional chapters the game can seem like there isn't much else to do. Overall, Fire Emblem 7 is easy to say an amazing game for both new-comers and long-time FE fans.

Fire Emblem is doing Strategy-based RPGs right.

It finally made it to North America!!! Japan has been lucky for so many years to have the Fire Emblem series going since the Nintendo SNES days. Graphics did its best on the 32bit system but looks awful to todays standards. The soundtrack fit in quite well and still have some songs stuck in my head to this day. Storyline is one of my favorites in the series along with the great strategy based gameplay. Fire Emblem on the Nintendo Gameboy Advance, A must buy if you have a GBA.

I can't decide which of the gba Fire Emblem games I like best. Sword of Seals the 6th one is the first of these and brings the charismatic and nostalgic graphics that each of these three games share. Fire Emblem, this one and the 7th, builds upon the last with more class promotions, items, and longer and more stories. Sacred Stones, the 8th, adds even more to this one with whole new enemy types, a few more classes, etc. If you are a living person, who likes games, stop reading this review right now and go play these three games. Are you gone yet? Shame on you. Anyway leave after this review I guess...seriously thought any one of these games is a classic and deserves your time and passion. You will get into these games and the find yourself trying to maximize characters you connect to, develop strategy, and use the battle preparation screen with vigor and intelligence. These games rock and made my childhood that much better. Go be off.
