Nintendo Game Boy Advance Indigo
No it runs off of batteries. Double A's I believe and either 3 or 4 batteries. it runs pretty long on battery life.
Thank you for your question! Yes, this system has an adjustable knob that controls the volume.
Gameboy advance has no backlight. The gameboy advance SP has backlight. In case you don't know, the SP is the version that folds. I personally would go for the SP. When I was a kid I had the gameboy advance and I'd constantly run into situations where the screen was too dark or had too many reflections. I tried buying a lighting peripheral but it was bulky, batteries always ran out, and caused glare. I ended up wishing I'd waited another month for the release of the SP. There is also the gameboy micro which has a backlight though more of a novelty item in my opinion.
No it has AA battery compartment.
No, Gameboy Advances were made before touch screen was invented.
I'd have to say that the one that I got came is good condition. Minimal scuffs and it works. But if you're going to mod it, I'd just go ahead and grab a new shell. Plus, you get gamestop's pre-owned guarentee in the event that it doesn't work when you get it.
It shouldn’t have any cracks but it is a refurbished unit so it could have some scratches. Mine did but nothing too noticeable.
Yes indeed, the GBA and SP have the same link cable port. So if your cable works with GBA it will work with SP and vice versa. Some extra info: the GBA and SP are part of the 3rd generation of link cables. They actually also accept the second generation of link cables (for instance, those used for Gameboy and GB color). However, the 2nd generation cable will only work to connect backwards compatible game boy games, not gameboy advance games.
