It’s Skyrim with guns. 10/10
Really good solo game to play. Great exploration game
This is the game that got me back into gaming. I had taken a 'break' from gaming because it just ddin't grasp my attention anymore, and I got busy with work anyways. Once the quarantine started, I picked this game up because I had heard good things. I immediately got sucked into it's gripping story, and I have ADHD, and mostly play Battlefield type games, so that's a feat. The story has multiple possible endings depending on decisions you make throughout the game. And a lot of the decisions are very emotionally taxing if you allow the game to immerse you. The story is twisty and turny and I became emotionally attached to some of the characters. Some are good, some are bad. All fit the story. There are different factions you can work with that create side missions, and also in turn they can assist you with the story. Different factions offer different benefits, such as weapons, armor, tech, etc. It even goes deep enough to allow you to choose who helps you with the story. The gameplay is smooth and well thought out, the map is massive, there are tons of weapons of different types with different pros and cons to each. Each weapon fits in at some point. Tons of different types of enemies, some of them are actually intimidating to fight. There is dynamic weather and day/night hours. Resources are the right amount of scarce to make the game tough but not annoying. I could go on and on about this game, but all in all you are missing out if you like single player shooting games but don't play this.
Not as good as New Vegas, better than ‘76. An alright addition to the series.
It came out a long time ago and I just recently picked it up but I get why it won Game Of The Year. Classic RPG mechanics, open world and an intricate crafting system make this game hours of fun.
