I love the combat it feels so fluid compared to the previous two and although i die a bit more the triumph is exhilarating i got to fight a giant crystal lizard it was awesome.

So if you’re a gamer that’s into story driven games with a lot of cutscenes and dialogue then I would say this isn’t the game for you?. With that said I love story driven games like RDR 1 & 2 or Assassins creed, The Witcher 3... But not as much as I love the soulsborne genre. I never thought I would like or play these games but when I got my PS4 I played witch is an exclusive, it ended up becoming one of my favorite games of all time . Which turned me into going and picking up the dark souls series witch I love just as much, replay value is so high because you have to dig for your story dig for understanding the crazy challenging difficulty is true, but if you just remember it’s a game you can learn it if you stick with it and it becomes one of the most addictive game styles . Darksouls 3 is in my top 5 of all time favorites. As I stated in the beginning I love normal action RPG‘s with more storyline, But honestly they don’t scratch the Itch like these soulsborne type games ... i’m giving props to from software for turning me on to a genre that is probably one of my favorites when I actually hated it at one point . Give it a shot, don’t give up and as they say Git Gud.

Totally a good buy; treats you like an adult. Feeds you environmental story-telling without having to spell it out for you. Decked with a number of optional bosses and allows you to enter different areas in the order you choose so it feels like your exploring instead of being taken on a tour in an A-B-C world. Perfect Co-Op format to allow fun with friends without removing the challenge of the game. Not many games like this these days. Takes time to digest, and gives a feeling of genuine reward upon achieving progress. Gotta love it, and I'd recommend to anyone to purchase before the end of the Xbox one era. Don't Give Up, and Praise the Sun!

From Software doesn’t make bad games. If you haven’t played this game, or any “SoulsBorne” games for that matter, just use the wiki when you need to to avoid visual spoilers and get unstuck, or if you don’t care about spoilers, watch a speed run to get an idea of how to fight the bosses. Knight is the easiest class for beginners. These games still have a very active community, I’ve found invasions and summons in every area in 2019 on Xbox one. Keep in mind that Xbox has fewer players than ps4. The quests don’t directly tell you how to complete them, and you may miss some important items, covenants, spells, miracles, etc on your first play through unless you look at a guide or the wiki. If you’re interested in the multiplayer aspect of the game, there is a Soul level invasion meta list on reddit, which states the minimum and maximum soul level for multiplayer in each area. These games are phenomenal, and 19.99 for the 3rd game with all the DLC is a steal. For the best value, purchase the Dark Souls Trilogy bundle and enjoy all 3 games with all the DLC included.

Awesome game, one of the most challenging but rewarding of the series. It took everything good from past games and put it all into one amazing experience. Very high replay-ability as well.
