I will be the first to admit when I saw this game I was unsure how it was going to turn out. I have gotten games in the past that had "good" reviews and tottaly bombed and then learn they were paid reviews! gotta love that... but this game is Different. As many who have seen the Anime will understand. Arslan: The Warriors of Legend, a game that blissfully combines the tactics of beating enemies by the thousands with that of the popular anime series. The story initially revolves around Arslan, a Crown Price of the Kingdom of Pars, who finds himself taken hostage, only to need to fight his way out. In the midst of his capture, however, he learns more about his neighboring cities and particular allies that can join him in his charge. That's perfect timing, considering that a maniacal general named Silver Mask wants nothing more than to invade his land. I will say sometimes the cut scenes seem to "chop" or do not run smooth but it is not really that distracting but it is sometimes noticeable. In addition to the usual hack and slash antics, Arslan also introduces wild segments called Marsdan Rush. With this, you run into what looks like a blue tornado, and then watch as a full army at your command tears across the countryside, breaking through barriers. this makes the game as you play as if your like a Super Godlike fighter and gives a feeling of power to you as you battle your way though fights and other things that you do in the game. The only thing else I can add is if your a fan of the show this is a must have, and if you have not seen the Anime after playing this exciting game and loving it you will want to watch and become a fan! 8/10 ! good job
