Tales of Arise is an awesome rpg with simple, but rewarding combat and a fantastic story to go with it. Bosses, weapons, armor, characters and your development with each of them IN DEPTH is all amazing when it ties up in the end. A truly solid game all around.
Love this series. Gameplay and characters are addictive.
If you ever wanted to play a classic JRPG but were annoyed with turn based battles, give this a try. It’s structured just like a dragon quest for final fantasy, but the combat is action based and involves catching you enemies in massive combos instead of picking actions from a menu. The exploration is fun, albeit linear, and the further you get the more fun the combat becomes. Story is just ok though. The plot line is interesting and surprisingly nuanced, but the dialogue is a little flat and characters often stand around talking for way too long in situations that shouldn’t allow time for that. Over all though, a worthwhile playthrough. Despite its issues the story is more then enough to give you a reason to keep playing
An excellent addition to the tales of series. Very clean well done mechanics.
Great game all around. Plenty of side quest, great story and character development and challenging boss fights. Well worth the buy and would highly recommend for anyone who wants a solid game to play while we wait for the next installment for FF7 remake.
