    This game is not good can't play defenses without fouling, can't shoot with the meter on, the handle controls are confusing miss the old handle controls, you can make a 90% or above contestant shot in this game too often. I hope 2k look at these reviews and make huge changes to the next 2k game

    If I rate only the visual aspect of this game, I would not hesitate to give it 5 stars. I spend a lot of time staying in mycareer mode. I can tell you that this game has made very little changes every year at least in that mode. There are always a lot of things happening in the beginning like interviews, endorsements, cut scenes etc during your 1st year. But after that, you are just playing 82 games repeatedly without anything new. Your team runs a set of the same plays over and over again and never seem to pass you the ball until you ask for it. Your team mates always cloud around you to get into their spots during a play. The new shooting meter is aweful, it's been said so many times. You have to get a perfect release every time to make a shot even if you are completely wide open. Everyone in the other team shoots like Steph Curry when they are left open but you can't make any open shots. If you don't have playstation plus membership, you can't unlock thecity which allows you to do other things and buy shoes/accessories. It makes zero sense after you spent so much money on the game, you will need to subscribe playstation plus for this feature. The AI defense is terrible you can get past someone very easily. They get speed boost also so it's rare you can get ahead during a fast break. It's ashamed this game is so pretty but the gameplay hasn't really evolved much over the years. 2k likes to re-use many features and makes small updates year after year.

    Why would you force a new shooting meter on everyone? Its so inconsistent when you try and shoot. There for throwing your timing off and missing open shots. Take a page from mlb tbe show. Bring all past shooting meters into the game and let the user choose which they prefer.

    Shooting mechanics are even worse then last years. Player movement is clunky and uneven. Overall horrible gameplay. Graphics on ps5 are marginally better then ps4 version.Returned within 48 hours of purchase. The release of this game was one of the worst things that happened in 2020.

    Basketball is my favorite sport, and I love playing this game. Sometimes on defense I don’t like that there’s no help side defense and it’s pretty easy to score but I guess that’s what makes the game fun. The graphics and load times are phenomenal and I would recommend this game to anyone.
