Based on Ken Follett's 1989 novel The Pillars of the Earth, the video game adaptation is a faithful point-and-click adventure. Released in multiple parts, this physical PS4 edition features the Prologue and the three “Books” that span the chapters of Follett's award-winning book. Players will enter a fully animated, 2D version of the 12th-century fictional town of Kingsbridge at a pivotal point and play as Jack Jackson, Aliena, and Prior Philip in an interactive take on the novel. Can you change the course of history or will the citizens of Kingsbridge continue to suffer through poverty and war?

Did you read the book?I read the book first and was excited to see this in a game format. It follows the book almost exactly. I don't see very much room for replayability, and the story can get a little slow at points.

A game adapting my favorite bookEver since I read the book I've wanted to see visually the world and immerse myself more into the world ken follet established and I think the art style, subtle music and choices are very interesting. Since I was already a fan of the series, getting to play the game was very exciting so it never felt boring, nor slow paced to begin with. I was just down to exploring it all.

Interesting and engaging storyI picked up the game at a great price despite not knowing much about it and I am glad I did. Although it looks like a simple game in terms of graphics, the story was incredibly engaging and it made me care about the characters. I would recommend it
