Product Description

Take a trip around the world in the latest entry in the long-running Harvest Moon series! You'll ride camels across the deserts of Pastilla, venture deep into the snowy mountains of Salmiakki, and even visit a volcano near the cozy mountain town of Lebkuchen! Can you imagine a world without cabbage, tomatoes, or even carrots? Believe it or not, that's the world you'll find yourself in at the beginning of Harvest Moon: One World, as the Harvest Goddess, the queen of crops herself, has vanished... However, before the Harvest Goddess disappeared from this world, she imbued the tiny Harvest Wisps with the knowledge of various seeds, thus ensuring the various fruits and vegetables of the world would not be lost. Using the power given to these Harvest Wisps, you'll unlock various seeds as you progress through the game! But the Harvest Wisps can be tricky to find, as they all appear at different times and places. You'll need to use your noggin to make sure you seek out as many of them as you can!

Features:

  • Explore 5 unique and colorful areas: the sprawling grasslands of Calisson, the gorgeous beaches of Halo Halo, the searing desert heat of Pastilla, the cozy hills of Lebkuchen, and the snowy mountains of Salmiakki!
  • Play as a boy or a girl and woo one of 5 handsome bachelors and 5 beautiful bachelorettes, each with their own unique personality and backstory!
  • Raise and keep animals such as cows, sheep, goats, and even reindeer!
  • Use your Expando-Farm to easily travel from one area to another!

Q: Any idea if I’ll be able to upgrade the ps4 version to my ps5 if I buy it?

Best Answer :

No it won’t be and if it did; it would say it on the game case. So if it does by some chance; it will be known on the lower right hand side of it on the front. But I am about 99.98% sure it won’t be.

Got the game and the DLC and was not disappointed. Smooth progression through the game is one advantage in this game that the others missed for one reason or another. You don't have to wait an in game year or more because you didn't keep that pink wool you got as a gift on the first year, ect... This game is one that has all the small things that were annoying in the previous games fixed. Highly recommend.

I'm a long time fan of the series and this game sounded promising. Instead it was disappointing and didn't live up to what I hoped. There is just a lot of features that I dont like and the characters I've met still feel bland.

It was okay I mean I was interested in the fact that you have to go from town to town to town imprint crotchety town just kind of turned it off for me

It pains me, as a Harvest Moon child, to say this: The game is pretty bad. Characters and world have little to no heart. Dialogue is subpar at best. Lacks in many basic features that typically are standard in these types of sim games since the late 2000s. Do yourself a favor and just get another life/farm sim. Odds are that whichever one you pick is better than this.

Absolutely Terrible

This game doesn't feel like a Harvest Moon game at all. The graphics downgraded and the characters are empty. The dialogue is painful to sit through and there is no challenge. The game gives you basically everything for free (seeds, etc) and I regret picking this up. I'd sell it to Gamestop but I don't want anyone else picking it up.

Very bland and boring game. I kept going and going hoping there would be some kind of customizable options somewhere, some interesting plotline, or something at all to improve the game and I'm just not finding much good about it. Aside from all of the other downsides mentioned before, the game seems to have fallen into a pay to win style, with the content you need to upgrade tools, being a dlc you have to buy. Story of Seasons already looks to surpass this game by far, because it won't take much.

The game sucks! It is much worse then the one before and much the same. It seems as the game has gone backwords. I was very disappointed in this game. I would not recommend this game to anyone.

Redundant

So while the majority of the features are great the constant requirement to spend your day going to sprites to get more and more and more and more seeds gets annoying really quick. Also, according to the customer service personnel, people will not be receiving the pre order bonus. That was half the reason I got the game.

Being a fan of harvest moon since the N64 the series is going down hill. This latest entry is very apparent of that. The game seems to be aiming for a younger audience or at least those who do not have as much experience playing games. Some of the new mechanics are cool but fail to shine because of the base game mechanics. You get seeds from random harvest spirits which felt weird and gave me a combined feeling of being cheap and frustrating. Honestly you're probably looking for the OG creators who make the Story of Seasons series now. Natsume, what happened guys? Seriously not fun. :(
