Awesome and thrilling, psychologicaly terrifying. Makes you want to replay it over and over. Controls and play are extremely smooth, graphics are pretty good as well, but the ambient noise takes the cake

Game was a little hard to follow. I have been waiting to play this game for a while now and while it was a good game it did not live up to the expectation I had for it.

Call of Cthulhu the video game is a truly bafflingly bad game; this game is so bad I'm confused as to why it has a 4 star rating when a 1 star is what it deserves. The worst part is that I'm not exaggerating! I was very excited for this game, I love lovecraftian horror and detective games and I was so excited I spent a whole day playing it...which is to say it took me less than a day to play it in its entirety. The graphics are unrefined, it looks like it came out in 2009 not 2018, the voice acting and character model movements are awkward and hard to watch, the basic controls are very glitchy and awkward, and the overall story is okay but leaves much to be desired. (SPOILER ALERT) There is a scene in which the main character is being choked by the villain and I kid you not, it takes more than 6 whole minutes to get through and all the while the character is supposed to be choking the two are having a very awkward "antag explains motive behind evilness" back and forth that's hard to watch. There's also another scene where a character is pointing a gun at you in a cutscene and it's embarrassing because all chambers of the gun are seen to be empty, anyone with a basic understanding of revolvers can see it. This game should be $4 with a money back guarantee.

I played this game once and was hooked. I'm not an avid gamer so this was a perfect game to start with. Can't wait to finish the game!

Over hyped and not really a scary game. Yeah, it had a good story to it but beat it in the matter of a week and felt as if it were hard to sit through. Even did all of the side quests.

disappointed, it’s a game where you follow a set path and don’t advance until you find exactly the one way through. npc’s are on autorepeat. back in the days of the original xbox there was a game of the same name (dark corners of the earth)—somehow that was a better game in every way. i got bored with it and didn’t bother pushing thru. would not recommend.
