Ehh...not good, not horrible. This is the PS Vita of Tony hawk games, you will either love it or hate it. Overall graphics: rough Overall gameplay: indifferent Overall playability: rough I recommend buying it used, but keep the receipt close. You should know if you like it after the first hour of play time. It doesn't get better.

THUG 2 was the last game I played and wanted to play that again, but this was the best PS3 option... shares majority of the things I liked about THUG series, but not quite there.

I bought this game to enjoy the experience I did when I was younger. It’s gives off a feeling of excitement waiting to play the game soon as I got home from the store. Wish gaming companies would start making remastered versions of these classic games or backwards compatibility on today’s game consoles.

My favorite skating game of all time!

I have loved this game ever since its release. I can still vividly remember buying it when it first came out, and from the first time I pressed "Start" and began my pursuit of completing it, I knew it was going to be a special game. The graphics are pretty solid for its time. It doesn't try to wow you with any face value, as it shouldn't anyway. The character customization has a lot of depth despite having 5 different types of characters to choose from. Clothing, accessories, boards and stuff like that, featuring logos from great brands like Vans, Volcom, Zumiez, etc, is a redeeming quality for the character customization. The core gameplay is awesome. It succeeds in both the career mode, as well as the Free Skate and 2-Player mode, which turns the game into a treat to play with friends. Great soundtrack, all of the songs are songs I'd love to skate to. In short, my favorite skating game of all time, a game I will forever hold in high regard!

This game is really good, the graphics are very realistic, and you can almost feel completely immersed in the experience, as if you were really skating in a suburban town. In this game, you use the analog sticks and the L2, and R2 buttons to nail tough tricks, which get easier once you get used to playing. It's a really cool game. I just got this game at GameStop a week ago, and it was a steal. It was $9.99 originally, but since I returned a game that was $4.99, that was reduced from this game's price! So it was only $5.30. What a steal, great game.

i think for 10 bucks most games for ps3 or xbox 360 are worth it. theyre arent many games for 10 or under that arent sport related so when i see one i give it a try. i thought hey why dont i try this game out its only 10 bucks. tony hawk series was amazing in ps1 and ps2 but this generation it didnt do good. once skate came out all other skates games disappeared. dont expect this game to be like skate at all. this game reminded me of the old tony hawks like from ps1 which was kinda cool because i loved tony hawk pro skater series when i was a kid. the controls are the same and everything pretty much. ive only played this for about an hour and at first i flamed it hard but now it brings back memories. its kinda like american wasteland (sorry only skateboarding game from tony hawk i can relate it to in the past 3 generations of gaming) you can get off board and i love how you can do tricks you cant do in skate series. i used to love doing manuals and then like pogo around and do wallies and wallplants. thats what i liked about tony hawk that skate doesnt have. overall get this game because really what else can you buy with 10 bucks nowadays? this will have a lasting appeal if you liked tony hawk back when he was super popular. but understand its not slow moving like skate its like really fast and you cant do like 20 different moves in 1 spine or vert(i think thats what its called =/).its fun to get to play a updated style and play and graphics of an old tony hawk yet this game cant touch any of the pro skaters.
