Product Description

Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord is an intense strategy RPG combined with visual novel-like storytelling from developer Aquaplus. Telling the story of the last heir to Hispania's royal throne as he fights to reclaim his land from the Divine Empire, Tears to Tiara II is a standalone adventure lasting approximately 80 hours that requires no prior knowledge of the previous game.

Deep strategy combat

Tactical battles are challenging and deep, with each unit having unique attributes and skills. 15 main characters plus side characters and even beasts can be recruited into your party to allow players great freedom to build their own strategy. 3 levels of difficulty mean players from novice to expert can enjoy the game. Joint Attacks, Consecutive Strikes, and Boost Magic mechanics add extra depth to the strategy gameplay and make for more replayability.

Dramatic story-telling

Tears to Tiara II follows Hamilcar Barca, a young man indentured to the Divine Empire. But when the Empire burns an innocent girl at the stake, he unleashes a terrible secret—the demonic might of the berserker. As Hamilcar shoulders the burden of freeing himself and his people from the tyranny of a corrupt Empire, he will fight alongside powerful allies, beasts, and even the gods themselves. However, he must control the demon within first, lest he himself turns the world to ash.

Tears to Tiara II Heir of the Overlord

I have had this game since 2015. It took awhile to try to get thru the game my first time. My second attempt is more successful as I'm almost thru the prologue and can't wait to proceed further into the game. I do enjoy 'visual novel' style games. An Awesome game so far!

Amazing game for $39.99

The story, characters and music all come together so well. It's such an amazing experience. It really makes you feel for each and every character. It takes the time to develop everyone and make you really feel connected with them. It's a lengthy game-- which in my opinion is a good thing. The only thing I can see anyone ever complaining about is that it's a very text heavy game. I fully recommend this game to any fans of the JRPG genre or visual novel fans. You will NOT regret.

Amazing story for JRPG lovers

Amazing game/Visual novel. Characters/music/plot were all lovable, the game-play is also simplistic for those who wants to just enjoy the story and then there's hard mode for those who wants a little bit of a challenge. The only problem is that this game is targeted to Japanese RPG fans and the more casual players probably wouldn't like something like this because it is a very text heavy game.
