I am a big POTC fan. I know the movies inside and out, and I am also a gamer. POTC At World's End is a good game but it is not the best. First off, the graphics are amazing which are true to the Pirates of the Caribbean atmosphere. Port Royal looks like Port Royal. Shipwreck City is Shipwreck City. Captain Jack looks and moves are like Captain Jack. You can hardly tell if your playing a game or watching the movies. You can't have great visuals without great sound, and the sound is all right but is not the best. The music sounded great. Same soundtrack and everything from the movies, but the voice acting is not of Johnny Depp or Orlando or Kiera or Geoffrey. They are sub actors. Don't go me wrong. The one who played Will sounds pretty like the orignal Will, (Orlando). Elizabeth same as well. Barbossa could have been better, and Capt. Jack let just say they should have at least tried to get Johnny to voice his part like from the movie. Whoever played Capt. Jack was good but didn't draw me in like Capt. Jack did on the big screen. Lets not forget the gameplay (laughs) pbbbbtttt! Thumbs down. Clunky, repetitive. What the heck are Jackisms? The gameplay didn't feel like a real pirate game. Swashbuckling action, pistol shooting, cannon firing, so on and so forth, but none of that was in here. It was all right. There was swords-play but it got boring after a whille. It just was too simple to understand. In all, this game was for children between 6-12 who want to become pirates, and if you are even big POTC fan, pick this game up. It is not the best pirate game out there, but it is not the worst.
yes: I recommend this product
